As another alternative to Cyclonic Rift, I would recommend Flood of Tears. This does hit your own things as well BUT you get to put a permanent card from your hand onto the battlefield... which can be quite impactful depending on what that permanent is (One with the Multiverse or Omniscience for example). Flood of Tears will run you a paltry $.70.
@@zackkelley2940 Personally I prefer Mists of Loren because of the versatility and the fact that replicate makes sperate spells that can target other things and would require separate counterspells to completely stop
@@thedestroyer1448 That's a good one. It's a decent rate on it's own and the replicate makes it VERY flexible. Curse of the Swine is another great one if you're just concerned with creatures. Exile however many you need to with the minimal downside of replacing them with generic 2/2s. I would also put forth Vedalken Humilator for dealing with creatures. Attack and turn ALL your opponents' creatures into 1/1s with no abilities until EOT.
Rather than Courser of Kruphix I would recommend Augur of Autumn which lets you see the top of your library WITHOUT having to reveal it, play lands from the top, and, if the coven condition is met, play creatures from the top. $.75 If it's the extra land drop you're after I would recommend Druid Class ($2) and Gaea's Touch ($1).
Garruk's Uprising isn't bad if you're playing a lot of big creatures but it does flat nothing for small creatures. Elemental Bond and Tribute to the World Tree are a bit better as they'll also trigger on 3 power creatures (and Tribute to the World Tree will pump your small creatures which makes for a nice consolation prize). The next best thing to The Great Henge would be Guardian Project which will trigger from, effectively, ANY non-token creature you have ETB. It's not exactly cheap but it still comes in at a very reasonable $6-$7.
I'd swap out Gideon's Sacrifice with Eerie Interlude, Dawn's Truce, or Perch Protection.
Flare of Fortitude is also worth mentioning as it prevents your life total from changing.
Nice recommendations. Cheers!
Time Stream Navigator is silly in River Song.
Not the only way to take advantage of Time Stream Navigator but certainly the easiest.
Yeah pretty crazy

Aetherize is also a solid alternative to Rift. It doesn't provide as clean a boardwipe, but it's instant speed and also cheaper than 1$
@@derdes4475 And only hits ONE player....IF they're attacking.
Not a bad card but not even close to Rift.

That’s a super recommendation mate! Thank you 🤩
Spectral Deluge is good in MonoBlue, plus its only for your opponents so thats cool
Yep! :D

Thanks for sharing Zack, appreciate it ✌️
I'm surprised you didn't mention Untimely Malfunction over/along side Bolt Bend.
I'm a big fan of bolt bend! However, Untimely Malfunction looks fantastic!
Calling a white creature a replacement for rhystic study is a stretch if i’ve ever seen one hahaha
haha- Maybe a little :P But the card is super good!
@@CosmicMangoMTG oh for sure! just dont think it fills the same slot. if you can even run it in your deck
@@gijsdevisser4226 yep I understand 😀
Mangara is white rhystic study is blue in my oppinion not a god replacement
Yeah, Mangara is more of a budget Esper Sentinel.
@@derdes4475 Budget Trouble in Pairs.
I can understand that :P I was having difficulties trying to find something in blue that is similar, any recommendations ?
@@CosmicMangoMTG maybe "insight"
@@marcoderdon4943 Oh yeah! Nice one! :D
Proxy for competitive play, we don't play against wallet ;) For casual it doesn't matter
Hehe, Proxy may be the way :P
Some cards are crazy expensive! Must admit the real cards always feel so much better to play XD
Bolt Bend is like a 2 cent card not 4,50
Hey buddy!
4.50 on card kingdom, think it’s spiked recently?
@@CosmicMangoMTG I just watched on card market 2 cent
@@Angelo-ry1pi sorry I meant “card kingdom”
@@CosmicMangoMTG yeah American market is weird how the price fluctuates
