    For the ones complaining about the video edition, it was not prepared by Kyrgios, simply the selection is based on winners more than unforced errors and Jarry had more winners but lost because he had many more unforced errors than Sinner. Still a great Jarry game to prove Sinner is a real number one, a man capable to adapt his game to a unique player, if you can not beat Jarry with winners, as you normally do with others, beat him by consistency.

Rank however is an objective measure of how you perform through matches and seasons and this result came as no surprise to most of us, I'm sure, including his fans. These highlights were confusing - Jarry won like 90% of the points with amazing shotmaking but then the score wouldn’t move…and I’m here wondering how did Sinner win when I’ve seen so little of his winning points.😅

    I´m really impressed how good Jarry is. Forehand and backhand look so strong. The shot at 5:02 is like Federer.

    Jarry plays very similar style to Sinner. Its actually hard to assess just from watching the highlights exactly what separates the two skillwise. each man had some dastardly points!

    That third set was the price Jarry ended up paying for hanging with Sinner for 2 sets. They’re not built the same!
    FORZA!!

    That was kinda a bad draw for Jarry, couldn’t go deeper in the tournament. But Sinner, so intelligent and clever, solid in a clutch. His mental game is his biggest weapon. 🧠 💥

    Sinner is a strategic points machine, if you try to throw it all at him, he'll have a plan for it. If you try to out pace him, he'll have a plan for it. Hes barely broken a sweat after this

    Great match and a close match no doubt. Both players played well. Interesting that highlight shows more winning points by Jarry, but he lost 3 straight sets. That is a typical example of "Controlling the narrative".

    I get that Jarry played well, and good for him. But maybe, just maybe, make it so that at least 50% of the highlight reel belongs to the guy that humbled Prime Jarry in straights?

    • @foloite
      @foloite วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      I saw the match and they cut a pretty good highlights reel. It has to do more with the fact that Jarry had so many Unforced errors compared to Jannik. These were the best points of the match
