You're so right about Ace being the classic companion everyone wants to be - when I was sharing a house with a girl who wasn't a Who fan per se, one time I stuck the VHS of Happiness Patrol on and she squeaked, "oooh - it's Ace! I loved her!"
That yellow tie 6th Doctor outfit is essentially a war crime. I have a statue of a Mondasian Cyberman. Perfection.
The second Sarah Jane figure is dressed for the classic series "Genesis of the Dalaks". She got the Camouflage pants and jacket from a locker on Skaro. Her own clothes were impractical fro running around in a war zone, so she actually changed in the episode! That's how she looked in the episodes! They did a good job reproducing the outfit.I respectfully request you move the second Sarah Jane figure from bad, to Good.

A big yes on the sonic sunglasses! They fit his character so perfectly. To me, he’s the rock star Doctor. I even have that pop Funko character of him and the glasses and the guitar on my car‘s dashboard.

Isn't it insane to think that our little own Doctor Who probably holds the record for the action figure line with most characters. Who would've thunk it that after all these years, there would be a Voord, Marcus Scarman or a Sil sitting in people's collections...

The blue Jon Pertwee is still a winner for me. I remember doing a watercolour of that publicity shot with the Dinosaur-fucker-upper machine and replacing it with a guitar (perhaps he was in cabaret that weekend) - only to get a like from Sean Pertwee. Who should fucking know if it's a decent likeness or not...
I think you will find Patrick Troughton's shirt was a pale blue, though the figure you presented was a little too dark a blue I feel, but I don't recall his shirt ever being white....
Troughton's shirt was blue so it wouldn't be too startlingly bright on black and white videotape, the original TARDIS console was green for the same reason, I think both were intended to look white.
That may be true, but white would suit better. It was blue in the Three Doctor's.

By the way Josh, you probably know about it already, but I feel like you might like the recent Jodie figure in the classic doctor's outfits they released as part of the 13 Doctor Regeneration Set. I'm not sure if they ship to Australia though.
omg as much as I adore Jodie, I hate when her and the master cosplayed all the doctors in one go. Bit too Fan Service-y for me!
@@JoshSnares I completely agree and tbh I only got the set for the 14th Doctor. That being said, when it arrived for some reason I've utterly fallen in love with the Jodie figure! I don't know why, I just think the figure looks SO good in that outfit. :)

I've always loved my Slitheen dolly because it feels remarkably accurate and I've always thought they're an incredible design that just didn't quite look right on screen (until SJA)

i really like the niche and fun look of doctors in the regeneration outfits!!! its just nice to see a semblance or like one final goodbye to the previous incarnation and to see the contrast between the old and new outfits

I have so many of these! They're on a shelf, grouped by their era. I believe the blue jacket Pertwee may be from the Sea Devils and one of my Hartnells is also suffering from a severe case of pink eye!

I have the Deadly Assassin Master which I think is awesome. I have the Cyberman Phase of Figures with the build a Tomb Cyberleader included, and the modern Cyberman from the Next Doctor is the only one I don't like. I have a few more, but I don't have a lot. The Warewolf is nice, but it is hard to make stand upright. Bannakaffallata is cute, too. There are so many good ones. I could go on, but I won't.
This was great. I'd love a video covering bizarre and superfluous Dr. Who dollies.

Question, does Eaglemoss figures = dolly? They don't move. Some of the sculpting is very suspect. They're fragile as all hell, and Aussies have to suffer loads of breakages. But I do love them.
There is an upcoming convention in Adelaide around May with the wonderful Sophie Aldred coming to it.

The Hartnell Doc looks pale because you have the monochrome version. I used to have a green velvet jacket like Pertwee. The elbows wore out from leaning on the bar.
I loathe the paradigm Daleks. I was given one as a Xmas pressie. I had to smile through gritted teeth to say thank you. What do they keep in the bustle? Spare Robomen?
I was given the box set of dollies 'Includes all ELEVEN incarnations of the Doctor. Eleven until Mo-Fatt inserted another secret one.
I have sixteen Daleks approx. ( I haven't opened my film canister, so I don't know if there are Daleks inside).
The love of my life is, of course, my 1965 Herts Dalek which I got for Xmas in 1965. ♥💘💘💝💝💓💓🥰🥰
I have Bessie which came with a DVD. A few Tardises. A couple of K9s and a some Cybermen.
Completing my collection is a Mechonoid.
You won't find a Missy in my collection. Wait. Stephen Moffat writes dialogue? Who knew. I thought he just put Scrabble letters in a hat and picked them at random. I'm sure ChatGPT could do a far better job than him.
Of course Omega doesn't have a head. Only his will survives.

Really fun video Josh! Mine are all in a box somewhere, apart from that Second Doctor in the fur coat which sits on my shelf like the girl boss she is. I definitely agree with you though - always thought Pat's shirt was white, and the blue just doesn't look right.
If you watch the Three Doctors again, I'm pretty sure Pat has a blue shirt in it. I never thought the costume worked on those episodes either.

This was just the fun pick-up I needed today! I love the phrase "Doctor Who Dolly" and I'll be exclusively using that from now on. I don't have any dollies but I've always wanted to pick up just a few. I'll use this as a guide :)

Recently subscribed to your great channel. So glad to see more output. Great collection. My collection is a bit eclectic. I really love the Classic Figures (nothing like that available when I originally watched. The 7 year old me envies and slightly hates the 65 year old me ) Mad Zombie is a great Shop. I wish Adelaide had more stores like this. Online shopping is great but I love the personal experience.
PS they SO ARE DOLLIES! For years I've been INSISTING....they are ACTION FIGURES or POP CULTURE COLLECTABLES. Nah they ARE DOLLIES! My Old Man would turn in his grave (when I was a kid he threw out my toys"too old for Dollies Boy!" Is 65 too old?

Hey mate, bloody love the videos, always got that consistent class content. Been really getting amongst some classic doctor who, but have never really delved too deep into the william hartnell era. I have watched his first 3 stories but little else, do you happen to have a recommendation for a story that will really get me into all of it?
I think a great hartnell is Time Meddler, introduces some good shit, and it's fun! Troughton, Tomb. Pertwee, Time Warrior. T Baker, City of Death. Davison, Earthshock. C Baker, Vengeance on Varos. McCoy, Remembrance of the Daleks

How many Doctor Who figures can a person have? Let me put it this way: I've loved the show since 1968, and had been waiting a lifetime for good toys from it. In my bedroom, in front of me, as I write this, is a shelf with about sixty Daleks on it. Including multiples - and you must always stay true to the classic show, and have at least three of every villain, or alien - I've probably got a little shy of 500. The last ones I got was the regeneration set, with Jodie in her hybrid outfit, and Tennant (complete new sculpt) in his '14' outfit. Lovely little set.
I hated the scale change, and generally the face sculpts, and paint apps were well below par. Oddly the Amy Pond face is a work of art, whereas '11' looks like a 1970's Star Wars figure, dots for eyes, and that's yer lot. I repainted 10, 11, both Claras, and one 12. Then they realised nobody liked the 3.75" figures, and stopped making them. The two TARDIS models they made were lovely, though. I can recreate 'Flatline' now, though, by putting a 5" Capaldi figure in one of them.
