This problem is such a pain in the ass for me. I use an intel chip and the stupid updates install amd drivers before installing intel hd drivers. This fucks up my display and freezes it very badly
I'm so done with all the driver related crash and black or blue screen with my AMD card. Has been nice for one year and a half and now it's almost unusable as i spent almost every night figuring out why my pc get those amd errors and nothing i had tried work. Not even a fresh windows install on a new SSD , a back to stock of the Motherboard and removing and reinstalling all of the drivers of the systems from DDO to registrery ... It's just change nothing. Thing is doomed as soon as any AMD driver are installed. The only way i get a stable system is by removing the amd drivers and use the generic windows ones... WHich made anything more than browsing a mess since gaming run at a stuttery 8 fps...
I'm going through the samw thing right now...I'll just have to disable those updates but next time I buy a PC i will never consider an AMD graphics card ever
amd should ask Microsoft to stop fk there own hardware
I work in pc shop and this problem already fk most of my customers
