Language as one layer above icons is a fascinating way to think about it.

The argument, by 1m15sec in, describes why AI will never be self correcting.
A fundamental programming bias that the nature of the machine will not allow anything other than infinite data aggregation OR a baseline goal coded into it. That baseline goal ALWAYS gets different results from the same device, when changed. Aggregating the data in a different order is not a separate interpretation. It's a different line of logic based on the same synthesis, changed by chronology.
Someone has to build an AI. Run it on real time for a year. Then, for the next year, replay the same year, in several different orders. This will refine that which that AI is capable and define it's purpose. At no point will the AI determine that for itself, due to the limitations of it's own form.
    Just. Like. US.

donnie gebert Yeah. It's incredibly hard to predict, but we have to model it after ourselves in some sense. Though who knows what differences there are in meat based information processing, and metal based information processing.

How AI will help the next generation of students cope?
As the world becomes increasingly complex and interconnected, it can be challenging for students to navigate and understand the many issues and challenges they will face. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to help students cope with these complexities and to prepare them for success in the 21st century. By investing in early education in AI, we can give students the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
One of the main ways that AI can help students cope with the complexities of the world is by providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to understand and analyze data. In today's world, data is ubiquitous, and being able to understand and make sense of it is crucial for success in many fields. By learning about AI and data analysis, students can gain the skills they need to make informed decisions and to understand complex systems.
Another way that AI can help students cope with the complexities of the world is by providing them with the tools they need to solve complex problems. AI algorithms can analyze vast amounts of data and find patterns and trends that humans might miss. By learning about AI, students can develop the skills they need to think creatively and to find innovative solutions to challenging problems.
In conclusion, AI has the potential to help the next generation of students cope with the complexities of the world. By investing in early education in this subject, we can give students the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

I’m still waiting for him to talk about complexity. He was talking about analysis and reductionism. Some synthesis thrown in there. Simplification as well. A dash of categorization. It seems he talked about simplifying something that is complicated.
But complexity is not the same as complicatedness.
