Meliodas is the Dragon's Sin of Wrath and captain of the Seven Deadly Sins, formerly the owner of the renowned tavern Boar Hat, and is the main protagonist of the series. His Sacred Treasure is the Demon Sword Lostvayne and his inherent power is Full Counter. He was also the head of the Ten Commandments, as Meliodas the Love and a former member of Stigma. He is the older brother of Zeldris and the eldest son of the Demon King.

It’s a shame meliodas and zeldris’s childhood wasn’t touched on, I think it’s very interesting with details such as how exactly the demon king created them. But what always gets me with this show is how Meliodas appears to have one of the purest hearts on the show, and for him be considered the most twisted demon, he had to truly be evil because that’s saying a lot and it’s no small way to put his morality in perspective. I don’t fully understand how meliodas became the person that he is. I mean I’ve heard the story, it just doesn’t settle in my brain because the way the story is told. They make it seem as if the change was instant. This show had the potential to be legendary but it will sadly be forgotten due to reasons such as these...
I mostly agree, but we kind of see that evolution with Zeldris. While not Meliodas himself, we can see how when Zeldris turns good over Gelda, despite being the leader of the Ten Commandments. Still though, its not done the best way.

I won't forget it
Actually, the manga does say a bit about how evil he was and how he became the person he is now. See, what made Meliodas evil wasn't some insane, fucked up cruelty or something like the Joker. What made Meliodas truly evil was his apathy. The fact that he didn't care about anything at all beyond Zeldris. That meant that he had no qualms doing whatever it was he had to do, no matter what. No mercy. No empathy. No kindness. If he was to slaughter a village and their children, every last child would be dead. Not because Meliodas wanted them to die, but because he didn't care if they died or not. The war, to him, was entirely meaningless and he simply wanted it to come to an end. And the way to achieve that? Win. So he did as his father asked, all to win.
You can tell that even as Ten Commandments leader Meliodas, he was still vaguely kind hearted. He knew about Zeldris' forbidden love affair and didn't snitch. He lowkey admired it, even. And when he was going to ditch the demons, he directly approached Zeldris and let him know. Since Zeldris was the only demon he could ever reasonably form a bond with (seriously, all the others are just a bit too fucked up), it's telling that he didn't pass up the opportunity. And to be honest, with how Zeldris seems to remember him, Meliodas probably acted like the "super cool older brother" when it was just him and Zeldris around. After all, Zeldris didn't just respect and fear Meliodas. He *admired* and *loved* him.
Also, Meliodas presumably did try to snipe Elizabeth several times just to help end the war, since he mentions Elizabeth kicking his ass. I really think that once Meliodas met an equal in the meaningless war, he instantly realized that he didn't have to "not care". He could care like Elizabeth did. He could off-set the balance and finally end the war. He could atone for the sins of his entire race. After all, it wasn't as if Meliodas wasn't keenly aware that he was doing fucked up shit, which meant that he had a sense of morality even if he didn't adhere to it. And Elizabeth wasn't able to "turn" higher-rank demons (like the 10c), unlike the lower ranks that she'd routinely convince to stop fighting. That means that however she and Meliodas came to an agreement had to have been out of Meliodas' genuine desire. He wasn't bewitched by her kindness or anything, he very much wanted to interact with her.
TLDR: Meliodas' greatest evil was his apathy. That's why he's seen as "emotionless" most of the time, when he's doing demon stuff. A person who will do anything is far scarier than a person with a sense of ethics/morals/some kind of system of behaviours. But, in the same vein, they're the easiest to deal with because all you have to do is give them something to care about.

The first Gilthunder and Meliodas fight, Gilthunder says “I am now stronger than any of the 7 deadly sins” to point out to Meliodas that he’s still on his side and also because Gil was being watched, Gil also gave the locations for the others Sins. All Calculated

@@ishraaq8245 I bring good news for you, there's a sequel manga for Seven Deadly Sins that's being made right now, it's called Four Knights of the Apocalypse and it has 31 Chapters and 2 Volumes (only 23 chapters are compiled in Volumes right now).

No need to be ashamed, I grew up watching Fairy Tail and 7DS and have been rewatching it more than 5 time. Atleast I make sure to rewatch it a year once. And still waiting for Four Knights of the Apocalypse to get adapted 🤙. Yea Ik that Fairy tail wasn't the best anime but I grew up with it so it has a special place in my heart, ok 😃👍

There are like 5 seasons, and most of them have 24. 24 episodes is at least 8 ours if you skip the recap, intro, and ending and not to mention with no interruptions. Therefore it is impossible to watch the entire series in 2 hours

Just a little nitpick, Meliodas’ inherent magical power isn’t “Full Counter” as the Demon King called it an “imitation of Chandler’s spell” as Meliodas was too afraid of using his true magical power which was Destruction Magic. The first time him using it being when he tore off the Demon King’s arm to escape Purgatory with Ban

What Mel used to scar Ban was hellfire, I remember that Elaine said that only Hellfire would be able to actually burn the fairy forest and Ban's inmortality was pretty much that forest's life source so...there you go.

She tried to lead the Sins to a secret tunnel, but one of the remote attacks from a Holy Knight sent her into a wall, where she hit her head. It was an extra manga chapter that showed it all. Elizabeth was 16 at the beginning of the series

I'm currently on season 4 and I must say this show's great; I usually don't watch anime but this feels different. The arcs and characters are brilliant not to mention Elizabeth and Meliodas' relationship; their backstory broke me. Their relationship is the epitome of "when love is real, it finds a way."

I’m still sad about Escanor’s death
You know him, along with pretty much everyone else who lives and dies in this anime seems hella random. Like someone who's really strong will lose to someone who is promptly beaten by someone else who is usually portrayed as average at best. There's no consistency in power levels. Like I get that there's value to be had in things being unpredictable but at the same time there has to be some level of continuity rather than "Hey _____ hasn't won a battle in a while, let's choose them!"

His inherent power is not full counter by the way, it was the destruction power at the end of the series used to take off the Demon King's arm in purgatory. Full Counter was taught to meliodas by Chandler one of the Original Sins

Although the new memorie said that he was powerless and that the demon king took pity on him and gave him a commandment, so gother (demon not doll) could have somehow made the demon king into giving Estarosa/Miale demon powers.
But thats just my best guess. As I don't think that it's directly answered in the series.

It's because if the bad animation that went viral in the Meliodas vs The One Escanor fight. Everyone meme'd it so hard it's reputation never recovered. It's a shame because I like the anime and play the mobile game Grandcross
the terrible animation. the mediodas vs escanor fight was supposed to be one of the best fights in the entire series but they ruined it by having terrible animation.
