I have to say: I really wanted Luka and the Mavs to win. But we have to accept that Celtics are just stronger and deserve this title!

It’s just impressive watching Dallas in the 1st quarter of the last 2 games seemingly getting what they want and you look at the score board at the end of it and the are up by 1 possession even though the game feels like they should be down by 15 or more. I live in Dallas so watching how they played in the second of the season, picked Dallas to win against OKC and Minnesota based on match ups and experience. I didn’t pick the, to beat Boston mainly (Boston Fan) because they couldn’t hide there weaknesses. Through the whole lead up they kept reminding me of those 2022 Celtics that were probably too Early and I think Luka is as well.

As a Boston fan, the Mavs can learn and gain a lot from this experience. We’ve been at the door since the ECF in 2018, 5+ years ago. I hope Luka can learn a lot from his atrocious game 3 performance (from a professional standpoint), as he still has a opportunity to be the face of the league if he focuses his attention correctly.
The Western Conference was just a tournament for who wanted to get gobsmacked by the Celtics. I had some hope Dallas could give them some competition but it turned out the Celtics weren't even really trying against their East opponents on the way to the Finals
Yeah and to be honest. The only team in the west that had a shot to beat them was Denver. Even then I still think Boston beats them in 6 or 7.
Agreed. We've got to give credit where credit is due. The Celtics are just too good. They deserve to be the champs this season. Peace.

@@Swish2430 They're a 5th-seeded underdog against the 1st seed in the league. Dallas has glaring weaknesses Boston has been able to exploit. Boston has no weaknesses. Interestingly, as bad as Luka's defense was & his shot selection at times, Dallas was +12 in the 38 minutes he played & -17 in the 10 minutes he was riding the bench. That's what a sheer force of gravity he is on the court. This experience will be a great learning experience for Dallas. They're a young team for the most part with plenty of upside. They'll likely tweak the roster a bit more too. There's always next season. That's part of the beauty of sports. 😊

@@crazylegs1324 I think they could. One of the biggest matchup issues is the fact that Boston plays five out and Lively and Gafford can’t play inside to protect the paint. Neither of those these have four extremely good defensive perimeter players that can switch on every matchup like Boston can

At this point, hopefully the Mavericks will be able to win at least 1 game. The Celtics and the Mavericks is just not a good match-up and the Celtics have crazy defense, not to mention that they also have about 7 different guys that can shoot 3-pointers. I do feel bad for the Mavericks, especially how Luka was fouled out in the last 4 mins of the 4th quarter, (the Mavericks could have possibly won if Luka didn't get fouled out) but I still believe in them to win at least 1 game against the Celtics.
Also, Mavs cutting down the lead to 93-90 in the end says something, so don't say that they are the worst team.

All the super negative commentary from the supposed expert analysists who insult and denounce the Mavericks are real jerks and I rarely watch them. When the only thing to say is what your title says. " The Boston Celts are just too good". Super simple! The Celts are better than the Mavs, no one is a bad person no insults necessary. 🙂
Hopefully the success of the Celtics can breathe life into the Sox and Patriots, just like how the Patriots started it all in 2001.

Too good for mavericks maybe., But overall they almost blew a 21 point lead in the fourth and had a 29 point lead cut down to 8 in 1 quarter..
Yet they still won every time. And in game 1 they blew out the Mavs a 2nd time.
