Absolutely no one overrates Tatis, he’s become massively underrated if anything because of the time he’s missed. One of the few 5 tool superstars in the sport and reminded everyone in the playoffs how dynamic he is
@@harmonydavis6784 The people who acknowledge he's top 5 are ball knowers and properly rate him, most people believe he isn't top 10 which is outrageous
@@harmonydavis6784 Why would I be lying about that? Recency bias affects many people and whenever Tatis isn't on the field many forget how elite of a talent he is. I was called insane by multiple people after I said he's still a top 10 player

Man don’t diss my boy Castellanos. I’m a Mets fan and even I love that dude. Guys absolutely hilarious and seems to perform particularly well under pressure
Im gonna have to come at you for thAT Sal Frelick mid rating. Averaged .259 this season with 18 stolen bags and elite defence. He is defs ‘Solid’ . Nothing more nothing less. Doesn’t hit for power really at all is a downside but had a clutch home run in the post season against the Mets. Please reconsider - I am not crackpot.
Angels fan here, and I agree with Adell being mid. You're also right that he has a lot of potential to be a great player. Dude can rake, runs well, great arm, but he's been up and down between the minors and MLB and has not been able to figure things out in 6 years! The only real reason he saw a lot of playing time this year was that Trout was hurt yet again early on in the season. But Adell did make some improvements both at the plate and on his defense, but I really feel he's on his last leg. We signed him for 1 more year so if he doesn't work out in 2025, I gotta believe we'll be passing on him. If he does really well and we end up having yet another losing season, he'll probably be trade bait.
I think with Walker it's a confidence issue, like no matter what the big league staff is telling you to do, top prospects these days don't just go and mash at AAA and then forget how to do so when they come up. I think the lights might just be too bright at the moment. He's still only 22 and he came up at first when he was 20 so it's not like he doesn't have time to figure it out
Looking at playoff baseball the teams with good defense often win i.e. yankees poor defense 5th inning game 5, Texas angainst Jays 2015 and 2016 ALDS, etc., etc.. Hitters get paid... hitting plus poor defense loses...
Springer's been in decline for several seasons now. Totally agree on Butler. Really excited about him, and hoping there is no sophomore slump. Not sold on Betts. I think whoever drafts him next season could be in for a surprise. Not a good one. Hear me out! I know everyone loves Mookie and he has been elite. No arguing that. He played out of position this season which might explain a lot. But his numbers are not elite. They're just not. Even if he played 145 games you're looking at roughly 25 homers and 22-25 steals. That's not elite. Before anyone mentions his hand injury.........his power took a nosedive about 60 games before that hand injury. So, what you ended up with was a guy who hit five homers before the water got hot, then hit five more the rest of the way before landing on the DL. And he's 32. Just saying. Suzuki at all-star? If you like him that much that's fine I guess. You draft him. I can get 25 homers from your mom on the waiver wire. If I draft Suzuki it would be because I had to. Very interested in Acuna's spring.
Wilyer is a dawg. My bias incoming but he was a better ROY candidate than Colton Cowser and Austin Wells. Especially when he had less appearances than both too
You are ranking these players by their hitting and not their fielding! Then title your videos, Rank Hitters in the Right Field, Catching, First Base position?
i say this respectfully, are you smoking crack? He had a .682 OPS. He improved from his prior MLB stints but he was not even close to All-Star let alone solid
@@GiraffeNeckMarc He's definitely not an All-Star level player yet, but as a biased Angels fan, I would probably have him borderline between mid and solid. This was his first full year of seeing MLB pitching and he vastly improved his defense to become a gold glove finalist this year. My bias would have me put him up into low-level solid, but I would argue that he's at least not quite as mid as you described him.
@ I’d have to disagree with you on that one. I’m not saying the Yankees would have made history but they would have had all the momentum riding on them going into LA had they just… not made those errors.
@ didn’t say that. But the Yankees did score that game. They scored quite a few. They didn’t lose because they did not score enough they lost because of all those errors. Obviously someone like Juan sotos bat outweighs his bad defense but that does not mean defense isn’t important

I look forward to every video thanks Marc🙌
All round five tool players make the most money, Defence with the bat matters just the same.
I almost threw my controller when I thought you were gonna put tatis anywhere other then elite
Bryan De La Cruz must be in Bench tier… dude had an almost -2 WAR
Need to make a special Ass tier for him
Mitch had like 2 starts in right field when the mariners got robles if robles is not the right field I don't know who is
I like your Suzuki ranking and Lawrence butler. Starling marte, poor guy just can't make hard contact
Finally some Lawrence butler love
shoutout to giraffe for putting an A’s player in the all-star tier
As a Phillies fan we love Nick. In Castellanos we trust 🙏
Yo Marc! You should do a tier list on utility players. Ex: Dylan Moore (Seattle mariners)
Soto is easily the GOAT. Way better than anybody there’s ever been.
Mostly wrong. He's meh at fielding. Pretty good hitter though
This is a massive overstatement 😂
You got to do flex player tier list, Kiké belongs on a list somewhere.
Wilyer Abreu is gunna be great next year
I would put Castellanos higher, mainly because of his penchant for hitting home runs at the worst time.
Right field is probably the most diverse positions in mlb skill wise.
Jordan Walker Succeeded after returning to the big leagues. Something was off to start the year and he fixed in the minors imo
not really he had a terrible batting average and couldnt field at all idk why he was ranked when burleson was the main rf
Damn, Mark has experienced a percipitous decline as far as quality goes
Fielding is not as important as hitting said the Yankees 8:17 😂

Jo Adell in mid is crazy dude was nominated for a Gold Glove
Below league average in almost every single offensive category. And his track record is abysmal
What? Not understanding how it was a debate for Tatis imo
Springer is NOT mid he's solid as a blue jays fan just had a disaster 1st of the year and has been very good for the last few year
Tatis definitely elite
Soto needs his own tier like judge lol
Dude the yankees just lost the last game because of defensive shortcomings. Won't you ever learn.
