Your videos are sooo helpful! Its very nice to see this one-light process so we can see what each position does with the product.
i watched every second of the video and i loved it!!! so informative and straight forward. and i love long videos! thank you so very much you're the best
This was really thorough and a good pace, brilliant work.
I really like the fact I can hear your thought process throughout the whole video. It makes you learn a ton. Amazing quality video, interested in more :)
Oh, the trick with the foam core over the camera lens is amazing! That's a new one for me...definitely going to be using that.
Good refresher course on lighting.
thank you so much sharing ❤❤
Thank you for sharing the workshop's with us
Never change your aperture! You had problems with the bottle mask because an out of focus object takes up more space than an in focus object.
Select Background is now an option in Photoshop, so the background mask is much easier.
Fire the camera from the laptop so that all the images align perfectly. Or use shutter delay of a couple of seconds, so that you are not pushingbdiwn on the camera. When leaning back to fire camera while holding a diffuser/bounce it is easy to put too much pressure on the camera.
I am very grateful to you for making this video tutorial, it is a gem for those like me who are starting out in the world of product photography, we need knowledge in post-production. Hopefully you can make more tutorial videos like this one. Greetings my lady.
Your channel is AMAZING 🙌🙌🙌 Please don't stop talking these in-depth videos with both your photoshoot and the Photoshop editing 🙏 They are really helpful. I was wondering something - when you switch out your backdrops - would you actually be able to just use a great for all colours and swop it out in Photoshop? Thanks a lot in advance ;-)
Great tutorial! Thank you very much for sharing 🙏🙏
thank you for sharing you experience.
Thank you, Skyler!
Excellent tutorial!
I remember once I was hired for $15 to photograph jewelry and the lady wanted me to photograph 20 items! within 2 hrs... 20 items!!! (with different props , gold , silver , earrings anything you can think of) She wanted same day edited photos for her website, of course Im a beginner and I did what I could with my equipment, knowing basic editing nothing crazy. But after seeing this video the time it takes , the angles, the lighting , the editing !!! only for 1 product...honestly I wondered why she was so desperate to get a product photographer asap! ... at the end , when I got home exhausted and overwhelmed I spoke to her and told her (thank you but no) hahahahaha
Its really amazing
Excellent creative work..
WONDERFUL VIDEO THAT GIVES ME A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF SHADOWS AND LIGHT. LIGHTING THE SNAKE WAS MAGIC, BECAUSE I SAW THE END RESULT. THANKS

I really like One light series, I hope you will make more videos for this series, I think a lot of photography novices like me also only bought 1 light and because they can’t afford to buy too many equipment but still want good photos to inspire and motivate to learn more about photography, thank you so much for this.
Wishing you much health and joy.

Thanks for liking
I Cherished ur work ànd am learning something from it thank you
You are so welcome
This tutorial like your others is very educational, I have been bing viewing since recently finding you. I have particularly enjoyed your tutorials using Luminar Neo and wonder if you have created a multi layer product edit like this one using only Neo?
Hi Brian, Thank you. Would be difficult to do something like this in Neo because Neo doesnt have good selection tools
You are doing a great job with the tutorials, but I dont understand the decision to combine two different qualities of light to composit the snake,. It looks weirdly fake when the hard middle is combined with the soft sides. In my opinion you'd get a much better and consistent result from using parts of the snake with the same type of lighting.
Can we get the same shot with multiple lights? Just to see another way of doing it?
Helpful
Glad to hear that
could you give me a link to your product table . i like this table.
Hi Skyler! LOVE your videos i learn so much from them.
What lens did you use for this shot?
Thank you. I used Sony 90mm macro lens
very interesting
:)
Your work is amazing. You don’t need this Tshirt to promote it.
Hi I really enjoy your tutorials it's easy to understand. Could you please tell me the name of your diffusion filter and where you bought it from
Hi Richard. The diffuser is Lee heavy frost. You find a link to it in description under my Amazon store
Hi Skyler I absolutely love your work and have subscribed! Can you tell me what you are using to hang your backdrop? I see you only use one side. My studio is small and it's a hassle to set up both sides with a common backdrop holder. Thank you for all you do!
Thanks for subbing! Hi Daisy. It’s called a CStand. There are very cool, practical, can hold a lot of weight and fold really easily. Neewer makes some affordable ones. I have some links to it on my Amazon store in the video description
@@skylerewingphotography will it hold the weight of savage paper backdrop with only using one side and pinching the other side with a clamp? The Savage paper is heavy and my concern is that one C stand won't carry the weight.
@@DaisysWorld192 I use them for savage paper every day. I have tons of videos showing that. It holds great just make sure the arm is right above the tall leg. If still concerned you can put a weight or a sandbag on the leg
@@DaisysWorld192 I love the Manfrotto weights. I also have those listed in same list
@@skylerewingphotography thank you I will purchase from your link.
At 16:00 snake was too bright because you forgot to change f-stop back to f/8 after you went to f/3.5 for the background.
wow... way too involved in PS for me... you did a great job shooting it and editing but it was all over my head...
Can you take a picture of a wristwatch?🥺♥️
How much can you charge for an image like this?
Very nice photography, but the technique you use is not well and it takes a long time.
Try changing the layer mode to lighter or darker and use mask. It's the best way.
Wish the best for you
A bit dark. Also, too much of the boxes showing.
