Thank you for showing us this home. It’s massive! I love the layout and the scale of the rooms - it’s very well-designed. Although the finishes and stark black and white color scheme aren’t my taste, I appreciate the striking and cohesive look. The last bedroom - the one you thought might be a guest room - stood out as a bit of a departure somehow. My favorite room is the theater room. The color of the sofas added a welcome change from the all B&W decor and were less structured giving a very comfy feeling. It was definitely an inviting space (and the popcorn machine didn’t hurt! 😉) I also liked the little room with the coffee/drink station with the work space. It looked like it could be the perfect, cozy space to escape to. The landscaping and exterior were gorgeous! I love the historic homes, but enjoy the departure to different styles as well. As always, very well done!
Those were some of our favorite parts as well! Glad you enjoyed it! We plan to sprinkle in a few more well designed / non historic homes before the year is out.
Wow what a great house, I really love the black and white aesthetic with the brushed gold accents. I’m not a big fan of the open concept floorplan but this home is done really well. The basement is to die for, imagine that wine rack fully stocked, I’d never come back upstairs, lol. My favorite features were the use of black tiles and the black painted wall in the master. Very stylish home and not really overpriced for what your getting. I sold my 2bedroom 2 bath 50’s ranch style house in Long Beach California for $649,000 so a house like this is reasonably priced. Too big for me though I did move into a 4 and 4 and it’s just me and a roommate. Thanks again Ken your knowledge of architectural terms are superlative and you really are professional and well edited and filmed tours.
Thank you so much! I know it was different than what we've been seeing, but for a newer house we just LOVED it! I would also spend all of my time in that basement! Dalton, the camera guy, also says he would live in the basement. -Ken
Thank you for this tour. Enjoyed the whole house, garden(pool) and BASEMENT?. That wasn't even under the house! Cool! For a 2.6 million $ manson, I couldn't even afford the interest due on the monthly payment! This tour is the only way I could afford such a place. Beautiful is an understatement. 👍👍
Still trying to figure out what a logia is. That's how the word came up on closed captions and there is only.one definition I can find. Nothing to do with houses or porches.
An appalling mediocrity. It was designed by someone who can't design a house of any sort and knows nothing about the historic style of architecture that it attempts to emulate. How does this kind of thing happen? So much money put into something planned with so little expertise. $2.6M in Missouri? I doubt it.
This house was a bit different from our normal historic house tours. What is your favorite part of this house?
The gym was amazing. Loved it.
All I can say is WOW!
Loved it! They thought of everything to make living there convenient and with a nice flow. Beautiful happy dog too! Thank you!

That fireplace has a fat slab of swag!
Great walkin closet in master bdrm. Thank you for the tour of this Chateau.
Thanks for watching!
Stunning well appointed home. Don't need a personal gym you'll get great exercise just keeping the place clean!!

I like the idea of the microwave being incorporated into the island, but it is very low.
Wow looks like a hotel

It's the location.. there's homes for sale more expensive than that in Ladue, Frontenac
That's the smallest great room I've ever seen in a house at this price point. There are 200k houses that has bigger great rooms 🤦🏽♂️
This is a strange floor plan
