Adam Lambert is seriously an amazing singer. This song is what made me an instant fan. I did a deep dive into his solo work and of course his work for over 10 years as the frontman for Queen. You know he's a fantastic singer when Brian May calls him the gift from God and Roger Taylor said there's not another person on this planet that can out sing Adam. If the members from Queen call and ask you to perform with them wow! Brian May said they were so lucky to have Freddie and now Adam. What's amazing is Queen is more popular than ever. They sell out arenas wherever they play. This fall their doing their 6 week tour in the US and I can't wait to see them! What I have discovered about Adam is he is humble and very kind and hasn't let fame go to his head. His friends are people he has known from school and performed with pre-Idol. He started his own foundation for charity and is proud of his community. He's a goof ball and really funny. People that have worked with him and fans that have met him (many several times) have nothing but the best to say about him. To appreciate his voice you need to see him perform live. Honestly the videos sound good but don't capture how truly strong and wonderful it is. When I saw him everyone around just kept saying wow. His voice literally vibrates through you at times. To really appreciate him singing believe you have to look up That's My Jam tv show. Adam was on it and he had to sing The Muffin Man to the music of Believe while imitating Cher 😂🤣😂. The song went viral and is a big hit. He has so many performances to recommend but I would start with him singing Who Wants to Live Forever at the Isle of Wight and The Show Must Go On. Freddie was extremely ill when they recorded it and never sang it live. Adam's voice is incredible with it. My personal favorite is him Roger singing Under Pressure. Going back to The Kennedy Center Honors. Reba also received the award that night along with the writers and producers of Hamilton and some others. The camera kept showing Lin Manuel Miranda and the stars of Hamilton. A tough crowd to perform to. Sorry I wrote so much. He's a fun rabbit hole to go down. I've been going to shows for 50 years and I have never been a fan like I have became with Adam. I guess he just makes you feel good with his music and to know there really are still really good people out there.
A beautiful ballad and a magnificent performance worthy of avations. Adam is a strong and technical vocalist, the best to date. I go to Queen+Lambert concerts every year and it's an amazing show, and they've been perfoming together for 12 years
The only people saying bad things about him are the homophobes (or Freddie Mercury fanatics) so it really doesn't matter. He is proud and magnificent regardless of all the challenges and criticisms. Brian May and Roger Taylor said during the repetions of their performance at the American Idol final that they knew Adam would front the band in the future. In fact, because of all the positive feedback after their collaboration on American Idol in May 2009, Paul Rogers quit his collaboration with Queen... in May 2009. There's a juicy interview somewhere with Alice Cooper and Paul Rogers where Alice Cooper said that Adam is "it" and that his voice is just perfect for Queen. Paul Rogers reply, "Really?" 😂 Their first gig was a medley during the EMAs in 2011 and you could see Brian looking and smiling at Adam while he was singing. Adam blew the roof off the stadium in Belfast. He was just utterly, utterly majestic and he was riffing so long in the first song I said, "Did that just happen?!? Did he do that?!" 😂 Ever since. They did a 3 gig tour in Ukraine, Russia and 3 gigs in London. People were thinking that he'd mess up in London but the reviews afterwards were nope, this man is the worthiest replacement of Freddie.

It was the start of COVID-19 in Ireland, and it obviously was a hard time, but because of watching TH-cam video after video of QAL and Adam's solo stuff, I now say that a) I was bloody stupid thinking Queen were as stupid adding Adam to Queen, and b) he made three years of COVID-19 so easy to handle. Like him, I was a theatre kid, which made him even more brilliant to me. If you want another Adam tip, listen to 'Give the People What They Want', from the Playmobil film where he played Maximus.
