That, and I'm surprised they didn't mention Resurrection of Evil along with Doom 1 Episode 4 and The Ancient Gods since they made the exception for Final Doom.
Doom 3.... So many other GREAT choices. Like Delta Labs, Hell itself was a fantastic interpretation and because its sparingly used is very effective. Even the opening combat levels in Doom 3 are amazing as the battle chatter gradually becomes more sparse as the human forces are wiped out.
good choices...that Doom 1 map is so iconic. I didn't know how to pirate in the early 90's and all we had was shareware DOOM so I played the hell outta that first episode. IDKFA
I would pick the Recycling sector for Doom 3, because it introduces the two unsettling enemies in the game called Cherubs or demon babies and Mancubus.
My favorite level in doom 3 actually was delta labs, especially the part where you meet the gut who explains what happened with the teleporter and bertruger but mostly the eerie feel of the audio logs
Alright, let’s do an actual ranking. I’ll list 5 different levels that I think could take the top spot from each game, with the Number 1 choice being my personal pick for the best. DOOM (1993) 1. Halls of the Damned 2. Containment Area 3. Command Control 4. Spawning Vats 5. Deimos Lab DOOM II: Hell on Earth 1. The Chasm 2. Refuelling Base 3. Barrels O’Fun 4. The Living End 5. Monster Condo TNT Evilution (using the TNT MIDI Pack) 1. Administration Center 2. Central Processing 3. Prison 4. Mount Pain 5. Shipping/Respawning The Plutonia Experiment (using the Plutonia MIDI Pack) 1. Odyssey of Noises 2. The Twilight 3. Anti-Christ 4. The Sewers 5. Ghost Town DOOM 64 1. Watch Your Step 2. In The Void 3. The Spiral 4. Even Simpler 5. Dark Citadel DOOM 3 1. Hell 2. Delta Labs 3. Monorail/Recycling 4. Enpro Plant 5. Central Processing DOOM (2016) 1. Kadingir Sanctum 2. Titan’s Realm 3. Foundry 4. Lazarus Labs 5. Advanced Research Complex DOOM Eternal 1. Super Gore Nest 2. Mars Core 3. Cultist Base 4. Final Sin 5. Urdak DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods 1. The Blood Swamps 2. UAC Atlantica 3. Immora 4. The Holt 5. The World Spear
My top'd be: - Ultimate: I don't remember the episode but it's M8 and the exit reveals itself after you get the mastermind down, also is kinda the longest M8 of 'em all so it gives it points. - Hell on Earth: Gotcha! The very first time we'd see the bosses infight shoulda been epic (If you play the map a certain way, you can save that battle for the end). - TNT - Evilution: Prison. The outside is just chaos (Last Call'd be the second because is the longest last map of the classics). - Plutonia Experiment: Twilight. I feel like at the time you're still getting used to the game's difficulty and pace and then BOOM! A mastermind appears! - 64: Even Simpler. Dead Simple in Hell On Earth is also an awesome map, but this one's just better.
Super gore nest is the objective best level of Eternal and I will die on this hill. Also choosing Odyssey of Noises over Go 2 It feels like a hate crime and you should feel ashamed.
"Doom 2 is the hardest game in the franchise" This would be true if Plutonia didn't exist. Also for the love of God, please change the smoothing settings on your GZ Doom, GZ Doom footage does not need to look like that.
I am genuinely left wondering if the person who wrote this ever actually played Doom 3 :( Like, not only ignoring the many maps in the game that do a great job combining atmosphere with tense fights, but choosing the level with thirty seconds of combat against the game's two weakest enemies where nothing else happens? Judging from the way they're approaching the rest of the list, I'd expect someone who actually played the game to maybe pick the Recycling level with the mancubus and the poison gas and plenty of enemies, or Caverns with the hellknights and the groups of chaingun commandos making you think about how you use your weapons and how to pick the right moments to use the soul cube. The sort of tension they're praising that one fight for is something it pretty much fails at compared to many other parts of the game that actually pull off what it's trying to do.
4:25. The obstacles in the corridor. you're supposed to miss the ceiling part that is moving downward and make It to the next box where it doesn't. Not the other way around 😂🤣💀. I swear brodie was trying to get squished each time
Are we forgetting Barrels O' Fun
How could they take the "Fun" out of "Barrels Of Fun" ?
The Doom 3 choice is... disappointing.
Hell, Central Processing, Caverns... and several others could stand as a "best" level in Doom 3.
That, and I'm surprised they didn't mention Resurrection of Evil along with Doom 1 Episode 4 and The Ancient Gods since they made the exception for Final Doom.
@@sammy32000 Also didn't mention the Doom 2 episode, No Rest for the Living.
It was an official release.
Super Gore Nest would have been a better choice for DOOM Eternal.
Blood swamps in ancient god 1 was 🧨
For Me This List is
DOOM: E1M1 Hanger
DOOM 2: Dead Simple
DOOM 64: The Terraformer
DOOM 3: Hell
DOOM: Titan's Realm
DOOM Eternal: Mars Core
“You Can’t just blow a hole into mars”

Doom is a series that gets better with age. Both old ones aging like fine wine (for the most part) and new ones breathing a fresh experience.
No way, 100% author havent played doom 3 at all
Doom 3 was one of my favourites in the series it was different In a good way
Slayer: where is my rabbit
Doom 3.... So many other GREAT choices. Like Delta Labs, Hell itself was a fantastic interpretation and because its sparingly used is very effective. Even the opening combat levels in Doom 3 are amazing as the battle chatter gradually becomes more sparse as the human forces are wiped out.
Administration: Pinky's intro!

I personally liked the Alpha Labs sections
My favorite DOOM level has to be Unto The Cruel.

The PSX exclusive maps Threshold of Pain, Twilight Descends and The Marshes want a word.
Doom hunter also has on of the best boss music in the series
*insert revenants dancing here*
I think it's criminal to leave out the expansions to 3 and Eternal.
I would pick the Recycling sector for Doom 3, because it introduces the two unsettling enemies in the game called Cherubs or demon babies and Mancubus.

I thought The Spirit World was the best level in Doom II.
Yeah this guys a journalist when it comes to gameplay. Dooms gameplay
Now if only we can get a doom and Duke Nukem crossover game😂
For DOOM II, I’d say E1M2. Two words: super shotgun.
Yeah that or the gauntlet come to mind for me
Open season for tnt really i would of said something like heck or one of the secret levels
Your doom3 choice couldn't be worse...
Under 30 minutes gang
Dude, Doom 3 is a great game and many people loved it when it released. Were you even born yet? Just stop with the usual youtube rhetoric.
G.O.A.T = DOOM³
For me the best level in doom 2016 was the forgery
I think Hell is the best doom 3 level also leave doom 3 alone
super gore nest and nekrovol are way better that doom hunter
I'm terrible at playing horror games😂
RIP AND TEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot Java Doom games
"Doom 2 is the hardest game in the franchise"

The Blood Swamps is the best level in all of DOOM. Don’t @ me.
There are better levels in Eternal than your choice. This whole list is clueless
Would of went with wormhole for TNT
Cool 😎 list
Tag1 Atlantica
Funny thing, I didn't realize doom64, was it's own game,
Did you just say Doom 2 was the hardest one in the franchise? Bruh
It's called the Cultists base not the Doom hunter base....TBH yet it was a good level...but I'd probably gone with Super gore nest
Delete your comment. It is called Doom Hunter Base
