Sometimes, the most kind people who wants to help heal the world are the most troubled souls. I think that identifies Takuto Maruki perfectly. He never had malicious intent in him at all.

He’s a good person doing the wrong thing for the right reason. Honestly, if you didn’t know the Phantom Thieves’ methods, you could easily apply that same idea to them.
@@pyrocinematics6649 Even knowing the Phantom Thieves' methods, we can still say the same for them. Changing hearts can very easily be identified as a sort of brainwashing, forcing the "victim" so to speak to change their entire perspective on their actions, even changing their entire personalities. Put it like that, and suddenly what Maruki was doing doesn't sound very far off.

“Nature has placed mankind under two sovereign masters, pain and pleasure. It is for them alone to point out what we ought to do, as well as determine what we shall do.”
Maruki’s actions may not have been entirely right, but suffering really is that bad. I’d choose the ideal over the real, every time
@@renegadesofanarchy289 You're not wrong imho. I am of a similar mind - I'd stay in Maruki's reality as well. Suffering can certainly make a person stronger, but it can much more easily just break someone. Some actual challenge to life would be much better, but remove the legit suffering and we'll be set.
Somehow this sounds even more disheartening than when you actually hear it in the Palace. I'm sorry, Maruki. I never wanted it to come to this.

Ok, so I just beat Maurki and cried pretty much the entire time after. This game has broken me and I love Maruki as a character. He was so well written Also, I love this edit. Thanks for making it!

The entire story was one of the best clashes of ideology I've ever experienced, I love series like fate and games like persona, specifically the third semester because they take a thorough in depth look into the charector's ideologys

I got persona 5 royal day one. I NEVER PLAYED IT. Don’t ask me WHY, not even I know. About 2 months ago, I figured, why not. I started it. I COULDNT STOP. The game is a masterpiece and I am angry at myself for not playing it sooner. Especially 3rd semester. I would give so much to play this game for the first time again.
All this needs is Chino's vox and it's perfection

Maruki and Sumire 😍 I like them very much as a couple , they should have a chance if in the future, they will make a sequel of persona 5 royal, only together they will overcome everything. Maruki seems really interested to sumire, he wanted to save her from his pain, even using the wrong methods.I hope Atlus continues the Royal story🙏😊🥹❤️
