i think during this years VNL, he was still recovering from an injury. same with the superlega, but i think he's playing again now. the problem with someone as small and explosive as nishida (6'1 with a reach of over 350cm) is that he's super injury prone. his body just isn't built to take the impact of his jumps, so he ends up hurting himself a lot.
