AARA’S WRATH || OC Speedpaint

This took 10 hours to make over like two weeks and it’s FINALLY done!
This is a character from a novel I’m writing (the first draft is nearly halfway done and i’m looking for test readers if anyone’s interested). Anyway she’s a lion-kestrel griffin.
The rough synopsis is this: Different creatures live in rings suspended above one another; one day, a mysterious winter dragon falls into the ring of Num’ri, a place where griffins live. He discovers he holds an ancient power and must save Num’ri from an eclipse freezing their land.
Like i said this is the rough synopsis. I cant give too much away. Comment if you’d like to read the draft so far :) it’s around 94 pages
Anyway as for the art, this drawing was inspired by the INCREDIBLE Twisters soundtrack. I love the original movie and i also love the new one, and both soundtracks totally rock. Like i said the drawing took 10 hours and i did it on Procreate.
And yes i did painstakingly edit in the zoom-ins to mimic how it actually looked when i drew the thing and to provide ✨visual interest✨
