Way easier than in PoE cause you don't need orbs to do that, just gold that is dropping from everything left and right. They purposefully made respeccing less expensive cause they know many new players will want to try out the game.
Are you going to do a video on how to scale damage on different build types? This seems like the biggest thing holding me back from properly theorycrafting builds. Does Str/Dex/Int directly scale melee/ranged/dex or is it something else? How do you do a build that combines multiple damage types? How do stun/armour break work? Are these melee mechanics only or can I use these supports on my Ranger? What about the other mechanics? There's a bunch more basic questions new players will have for trying to plan your build that you'd want answers for before you start putting gems together.
As for attribute scaling: I *think* the numbers are just different then POE1, but the stats scaled with each attribute are the same. So, Strength scales life and melee physical damage, Dexterity scales accuracy and evasion, intelligence scales mana and energy shield. So, the attributes *don't* directly scale damage (except for strength). At least in POE1, most of the damage scaling came from Ascendency passives (generally the biggest damage increases. These often would totally change mechanics, and often could make things scale totally differently), then from support gems (which were pretty close to the Ascendency passives, and for some builds could be higher), then from notable passives on the tree, and then from the minor passives on the tree. Also, maybe the most important wording to know the difference between: "Increased"/"Reduced" vs. "More"/"Less". The easiest way to think about this is: "More" is always more (more is better). More is exponential. If you could get up to 200% MORE damage, that's 4 times damage from base. Increased damage is only additive. Meaning, 200% increased would be base + 2*base (so, 3 times base damage). You always want MORE damage, not increased damage... But, at least in POE1, more damage was a lot harder to come by. As for the support gems: The gems will tell you what types of abilities they work with. Some only work with certain weapons/skills. Others will work with most, if not all skills. The first game (and I'd imagine this game does too) generally follows the idea that if the player would want the support to work with a specific skill, it'll work. Even stuff like extra projectiles on a "melee" skill can work if that melee skill that does have projectiles.
Str gives +2 life each, Dex gives +5 accuracy each, Int gives +2 mana each. These can be universally useful and aren't strictly melee/ranged/magic based, the same applying to armor break and stuns which are just physical damage related. All of these more minor details are explained in-game in detail when you hover over underlined tooltips. Wouldn't worry too much about theory-crafting a complete build, because there are way too many unknowns and anything you pick right now will drastically change once you log into the game. Best to pick a class and a basic skill concept not locked behind specific keystones/mechanics being strong and wing it, everyone's first character is going to be unoptimal or bricked.
With only 3 acts I think our source of spirit from questrewards might make the gemling legionare feel a bit starved. What would you do with 3 more skillslots? It was/is pay to get out of playing the demo that can last for 100 hours for free then pay for stash tabs (not the useless stash tabs like in D4 but they got currency, maps, card, etc. stash tabs in PoE that will be useful forever and will make your life 5000% easier and support the devs to keep making PoE the best ARPG in decades. PoE has the best free to pay system in all of gaming and in the end you will end up wanting to pay GGG money unless you're a weirdo that thinks game should be 100% everything free and no company should make even 2 cents profit
@@BigB0ss00 This is the correct statement. Path of Exile is basically a 60 dollar game with a free demo of 100+ hours.
If you're completely broke you can play it f2p forever, but it's going to become very annoying if you progress far enough.
There isn't, nor has there ever been a single way to P2W in PoE, and it won't be in PoE2. You must be mistaken for thrones and liberty. As for the "special complicated mechanic", are you talking about the respec stones?😂 you literally craft them by using scrolls....
It never was p2w.
D4 bad!
Also, thanks.

Why? You think he’s going to break this game ?
D4 is a meme compared to POE2 not sure if you know so he will be blasting POE2 for the time being most likely.
stay... with ... d4 ? Said no person ever with a fully functional brain. Well, if you're r3t4rd3d you stay with d4.
Diablo players thinking they can make path content. Oof
stop envying other people bro and start working on yourself. trashtalking wont help you
@ straw man. No one is jealous. Welcome to a real game. If you need help reading your POB hit me up. I’ll walk you through it.
I always forget how complex the skill tree must look to d4 players habahahahayaha
Trust me you can't make your own PoE build without POB so just wait until we have POB for PoE2 :)
I don't trust you, because it's simple to make your own build without PoB. You just have to use your brain.
@@Able2Game seems like hundreds of thousands of people dont have brains then since they play D4 instead of PoE
@@Able2Game good luck minmaxing without pob
