Getting money is an issue that everyone has needs in order to live a better and luxurious life. Life was difficult for me until i began trading,and I'm now earning a lot of money even with the current crash happening in the trading market. I still make gains using a better strategies....
My (very poor, but intelligent) mother had a few, but consistent requirements: 1. Stand up straight (good posture) 2. Deep profound love,not just for reading, but for the expressions of a great and growing vocabulary. She loved both reading AND the power of words. 3. To speak clearly, precisely and politely - while looking the person (or audience) in the eye. I was often chosen for jobs over people who had college degrees. I was simply good at sales....i.e. selling myself. I must also add, caring about other people and a profound love for new experiences, culture & point of view brings great dividends. I am more interested in expanding my view than getting my own way. Lastly, I am impeccably moral. People can feel this energy in me, and trust me because of it. This also opens doors! I am a positive, happy person. Just SMILE more often, and see how much more life smiles back!!
Wendy Robert: I think we must be sisters: your mom sounds just like my mom. Integrity was number one with my mom: never, ever lie. She never lied to us. She would say, "I am not discussing that with you right now." But she never lied. Stealing was an atrocity to my mother. She marched me back into a grocery store when I was four and made me go to the manager and give back the candy bar I took. I can still see that like it was yesterday. She would crack your head if you ever made a racist remark (my brother tried it once, and only once). She was the most generous person I knew and the smartest woman I've ever known and she only had an eighth grade education because she had to go to work to help the family.
I can really relate to this. It does really take you long ways and fast. It opens you doors anywhere you go. Truly an advantage. I sometimes go to places where I have either the same knowledge and experience as people 20-25 years older than me. Listening and being of service and having the right attitude and all the things you and her mentioned has really put me ahead in life.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn which I myself took advantage of. I made my first million from going diverse, mainly ETFs(stocks, bonds etc), bitcoin , and gold. I'm also working on an investment plan that includes NFTs with my advisor, Katie . It's been a year and half of steady growth.

My parent taught me from an early age to be nicer and more sociable, I was well liked by the teachers and my peer's parents too. But for some reason I was despised by my peers. I was bullied a few years back, and now I've turned them into friends, after I stood up to them. One of them recently came up to me and said that they bullied me because I made no effort to fit in. I would not put up with their B.S and that's what caused them to bully me further. They've come a long way and have matured now, stopped with their bullying. My parents taught me to be nice but not to tolerate humiliation. No one will respect you if you don't respect yourself. This has helped me tremendously, but you might end up VERY lonely as a result. People will typically see you as a threat instead of rivals once you start to out-perform them. But you still have to take the RISK.
Very well put. Folks w/out parenting have to teach themselves. Self-respect & integrity are the cornerstones of that effort but our self-esteem has usually been injured. My adoptive parents were very old school. They adopted me, taking on the risk and financial responsibility of a 4th child, before I was 1. That after all my older brothers were teenagers and they might have seen an end in sight. I got lucky. They were loving and awesome parents, but they never taught me anything practical, mostly bought me video games and told me to go play. What I learned subconsciously watching my parents included a strong work ethic from my dad who worked 12 hours a day 6 days a week as a professional electrician (in his later years), making enough to hold the family up for 40 years. From my mother, I learned compassion and empathy, what it is to keep a home going and how to effectively entertain a house full of kids, as she worked as a babysitter for a while. From their relationship, I learned what a healthy relationship with mutual respect looks like. A lot of kids don't get that opportunity

I find that some poor people feel that rich people owe it to them. If you are from a rich family, some poor people feel that they can borrow things from you without returning them. They do not see why they should return you your things just because you are from a rich family. Some poor people will hang around you just to get free food. They do not see a need to chip in.

Since I was young, my parents taught me to graduate and work in order to generate capital, then take some RISK and generate a money-making business. They also told me that when I'm at the top, I must never forget God and be grateful for all the circumstances that made me who I am today.
@@jamesneil2486 I used to not believe in God. But after studying biology and chemistry I doubted how all this could have happened by accident. I takes much intelligence to understand the cell and dna molecule. We are just discovering things that were already here. Also everything is made from atoms and we can't destroy or create and are basically eternal. God made the atoms then put them together intelligently to make all we see. He also made our brains and gave us freewill and intelligence to live life. It is wonderful that He is so good and patient with us. Hopefully you will realize these things as you go through life and God will be patient with you on your journey because He loves you so much.

My parents taught me two lessons that are connected. Never wrap your emotions up with your money and learn when to fight, compromise, or walk away. My parents were well off. Not super rich but were well off enough that I grew up in an affluent neighborhood. There money was in real estate. They owned a number of rental properties that brought in quite a bit of passive income. However, my mother continued to work as a school teacher because she loved education. When I was a teenager, all hell broke loose. Just before I turned 14 started a near 7 year long divorce where neither of them refused to budge on ownership of these properties. All but two of these properties were finally liquidated in short sales, to include the house we grew up in. And they ended up each living in the condos that remained. Through their actions, I learned that it is better to genially work with someone, rather than lose it all. And never let your emotions control your decisions with money.
Money is Energy. It is meant to flow; not stay solid. Money is paper and ink, or banking and bit coin it is only 0s and 1s. It is the value you place on it. It is your thoughts and feelings about what money is and is for. You can not take it with you to the other side (Heaven). So how do you use money for the better to have a happy growing in Spirit experience on this planet. Money is a tool to help you expand your perception through cognitive and critical thinking to have the best choices to make paradigm shifts to make your life and other peoples lives better. So if your expense is $1.5K then do something where you will make $3K for example. This way you can invest the extra $1.5K. And you don't even have to change your lifestyle. If you do decide to increase your expense then your income must increase proportionally.

KingHMB your Patents are right, if you yet don`t have money, graduate and then you have a Chance to get the money for entrepeneurship etc. But it won`t work without capital, Connections and Trust in you. So build your social trust first with a degree. Try to have some Side business with products. This can make you richer. Buy and sell. But focus on your degree first, work few years in big companies, get inside knowledge and capital and then be an entrepeneur one day. Else it probably will Fail like 90% of entrepeneurs do. Those who succeed without all that.. probably at least their parent`s did those things before and gave their money and Connections to help to Start ther business like the jews do... Plan big is good, but do/work/connect bigger, you have to suffer a little first, build yourself up while Learning and most important, do new things, leave your comfort zone! My mom and grandmother passed away 3 months apart and Grandma really raised me as her son but Mom birth me in Life so now I’m just pushing to follow through on things we discussed in their lifetime. That is one of the most misunderstood and misquoted verses in the bible. The saying refers to the "LOVE of money". There is nothing inherently wrong with wealth and success. They are only as good or bad as a person does with their wealth and success. Obsession with money and selfishness can manifest themselves into many kinds of sins.

The night before my mother passed away in 1983. She told me to finish my education. I did, I was lucky that I got full scholarship from my uncle and aunt who happily paid my way to finish my education. Today, I feel that was the best thing I have done in life. It helped me cope with the ever changing life I have and most of the time I do not think I could have survived coming to a different country all by myself. Today, I still feel alone in a sense that I am 100 percent in charge of paying my living cost. I feel like a rich and a poor person. But is still happy. I took many Risk some succeeded and some failed. I thank God everyday for everything that is happening in my life. I believe that will eventually change and improve for us. God bless and thank you.
What my parents taught me ... 2 family values: Integrity, Compassion. These serve me in good stead. But, sadly, my parents were children of the great depression. They missed a 3rd family value which I now believe would be just as valuable ... a healthy attitude toward money and wealth. The lack of this proper attitude has caused great suffering.

To answer your question: My mother taught me to do taxes at 10 and I was preparing the neighbors taxes for a 50/50 split of $100 by 11. The lesson was - know your numbers, grow your numbers.
My dad taught us to do this around 15. Good life lesson. People always ask why they don't teach you important things like taxes and folding a fitted sheet in school. Well shoot, that's a lesson your parents are supposed to teach you not the public school system.

A college degree doesn't promise a good financial future. There are many trade skills that pay much better than many degrees and cost 50% or less than a Bachelor's Degree.

The most important lesson I was taught by my parents was the power of never giving up on ones self. Living in poverty and watch my mom work the hardest of jobs and reaping the lowest of rewards all to take care of her family was difficult for me. However, she now has two young men who are passionate creatives who saw the contrast in their upbringing. That contrast made us aware that we did not like that and taught us to value the things money can't buy. We also learned that our minds can create infinite wealth, empires, solve world problems. A billion dollars is only an idea away. There really is no RISK in striving for wealth because even in failure there are seeds of success that make you more successful the next time. When you are young live like a pauper. Rent a room & work several jobs - buy properties as rentals - or a duplex - you live in one side & rent out the other side.work really hard while you are young. This can set you up for a great future. Be careful what you buy - don’t buy in scary areas - your renters will cause problems for you that will ruin your investment.
My dad was pretty old fashioned and isnt from here. He just taught me to work hard at a dead end job. And my mom taught me the same. (More or less). It was my Grandmother who taught me most of the things I needed to know about money and a few other necessary things. Unfortunately I lost her mentorship when she passed shortly before I turned 18 years old. Small minds talk about people(!), but my parents were a financial mess. Even though they both had better than decent jobs they worried about having things (TVs, used cars, etc.) and throwing parties, barbecues and get togethers. The same faces would show up every time, eat, get drunk and 'Goodbyes' all around when food fatigue finally set in. Only recently have I seen that I have to break the cycle and do better AWAY from them if my family is truly going to climb out of the mundane, mediocre and stagnant practices we've been doing for decades. P.S. - "R I S K."

My parents were not rich and never educated me on money. But for some odd reason my thinking of money was ALWAYS of that of the rich because WE WERE POOR and I didnt wanna live my lofe like that. The "Thou shalt not covet...''. commandment is very important to our sense of well being. There are many poor people who lead contented and comfortable lives simply because they don't fall into the trap of coveting. I believe coveting is what creates more discontented criminals than anything else. Of course there are desperate things that happen in life that can cause desperate situations and need.
I remember me asking badly my father to teach me how to count money and to show me it physically. I am very happy to tell that my mother taught me every thing I know that is useful to succeed in life.
I always was the type of person who get too attached to things and have difficulties letting go of stuff, and i'm still kind of are, to be honest, but i think it's way less then before. My dad would always repeat to me that being heartless or cold sometimes and just walking away from toxic environment and relationships, or anything that won't do me anything beneficial, will be the right choice in the long run, and that even if i cry for a couple minutes at first, i would never regret it in the future. He was talking from his own personal experience, and then it even happened multiple times to me, and I'm sure to most people too. And he was right! Saying "f*ck it" and cutting ties with people/things who don't deserve our time and energy really is great! And now it just give me big feelings of relief even though it hurts me a bit depending on the situation.

Lastly, I am impeccably moral. People can feel this energy in me, and trust me because of it. This also opens doors! I am a positive, happy person. She would say, "I am not discussing that with you right now." But she never lied. Stealing was an atrocity to my mother. She would crack your head if you ever made a racist remark (my brother tried it once, and only once). I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? My parent taught me from an early age to be nicer and more sociable, I was well liked by the teachers and my peer's parents too. But for some reason I was despised by my peers. I was bullied a few years back, and now I've turned them into friends, after I stood up to them. One of them recently came up to me and said that they bullied me because I made no effort to fit in. I would not put up with their B.S and that's what caused them to bully me further. They've come a long way and have matured now, stopped with their bullying. My parents taught me to be nice but not to tolerate humiliation. No one will respect you if you don't respect yourself. This has helped me tremendously, but you might end up VERY lonely as a result. People will typically see you as a threat instead of rivals once you start to out-perform them. But you still have to take the RISK.

My adoptive parents were very old school. They adopted me, taking on the risk and financial responsibility of a 4th child, before I was 1. That after all my older brothers were teenagers and they might have seen an end in sight. I got lucky. They were loving and awesome parents, but they never taught me anything practical, mostly bought me video games and told me to go play. What I learned subconsciously watching my parents included a strong work ethic from my dad who worked 12 hours a day 6 days a week as a professional electrician (in his later years), making enough to hold the family up for 40 years. From my mother, I learned compassion and empathy, what it is to keep a home going and how to effectively entertain a house full of kids, as she worked as a babysitter for a while. From their relationship, I learned what a healthy relationship with mutual respect looks like. A lot of kids don't get that opportunity

I takes much intelligence to understand the cell and dna molecule. We are just discovering things that were already here. Also everything is made from atoms and we can't destroy or create and are basically eternal. God made the atoms then put them together intelligently to make all we see. He also made our brains and gave us freewill and intelligence to live life. It is wonderful that He is so good and patient with us. Hopefully you will realize these things as you go through life and God will be patient with you on your journey because He loves you so much.

I'm trying to change things for the better, but it's hard because I have nobody in my life who is willing or able to help me in any way. Having good parents is such an incredible blessing. My parents taught me two lessons that are connected. Never wrap your emotions up with your money and learn when to fight, compromise, or walk away. My parents were well off. Not super rich but were well off enough that I grew up in an affluent neighborhood. There money was in real estate. They owned a number of rental properties that brought in quite a bit of passive income. However, my mother continued to work as a school teacher because she loved education. When I was a teenager, all hell broke loose. Just before I turned 14 started a near 7 year long divorce where neither of them refused to budge on ownership of these properties. All but two of these properties were finally liquidated in short sales, to include the house we grew up in. And they ended up each living in the condos that remained. Through their actions, I learned that it is better to genially work with someone, rather than lose it all. And never let your emotions control your decisions with money.

No man that's not being smart. If your expense is let's just say $1.5K per month then find something where you can make more money than that. So if your expense is $1.5K then do something where you will make $3K for example. This way you can invest the extra $1.5K. And you don't even have to change your lifestyle. If you do decide to increase your expense then your income must increase proportionally.

KingHMB your Patents are right, if you yet don`t have money, graduate and then you have a Chance to get the money for entrepeneurship etc. But it won`t work without capital, Connections and Trust in you. So build your social trust first with a degree. Try to have some Side business with products. This can make you richer. Buy and sell. But focus on your degree first, work few years in big companies, get inside knowledge and capital and then be an entrepeneur one day. Else it probably will Fail like 90% of entrepeneurs do. Those who succeed without all that.. probably at least their parent`s did those things before and gave their money and Connections to help to Start ther business like the jews do... Plan big is good, but do/work/connect bigger, you have to suffer a little first, build yourself up while Learning and most important, do new things, leave your comfort zone! Yeah man same thing, put me down for not being realistic. I didnt listen. 5 years later I make more than my old boss, which is hard to beat, also like a 2nd dad/ mentor to me. He is so proud of me now and he said he will be mowing my lawn. Takes time, you just have to keep proving everybody wrong. Watch me. I take it all as motivation.
My mom taught me about credit and debt very early. It didnt stop me from making my own mistakes but I have never downplayed its importance.
The night before my mother passed away in 1983. She told me to finish my education. I did, I was lucky that I got full scholarship from my uncle and aunt who happily paid my way to finish my education. Today, I feel that was the best thing I have done in life. It helped me cope with the ever changing life I have and most of the time I do not think I could have survived coming to a different country all by myself. Today, I still feel alone in a sense that I am 100 percent in charge of paying my living cost. I feel like a rich and a poor person. But is still happy. I took many Risk some succeeded and some failed. I thank God everyday for everything that is happening in my life. I believe that will eventually change and improve for us. God bless and thank you.
What my parents taught me ... 2 family values: Integrity, Compassion. These serve me in good stead. But, sadly, my parents were children of the great depression. They missed a 3rd family value which I now believe would be just as valuable ... a healthy attitude toward money and wealth. The lack of this proper attitude has caused great suffering.

Living in poverty and watch my mom work the hardest of jobs and reaping the lowest of rewards all to take care of her family was difficult for me. However, she now has two young men who are passionate creatives who saw the contrast in their upbringing. That contrast made us aware that we did not like that and taught us to value the things money can't buy. We also learned that our minds can create infinite wealth, empires, solve world problems. A billion dollars is only an idea away. There really is no RISK in striving for wealth because even in failure there are seeds of success that make you more successful the next time. When you are young live like a pauper. Rent a room & work several jobs - buy properties as rentals - or a duplex - you live in one side & rent out the other side.work really hard while you are young. This can set you up for a great future. Be careful what you buy - don’t buy in scary areas - your renters will cause problems for you that will ruin your investment.

Be careful with some of Dave Ramsey's advice. He went bankrupt using balloon mortgage to flip houses so his attitude towards debt can be extreme.

It was my Grandmother who taught me most of the things I needed to know about money and a few other necessary things. Unfortunately I lost her mentorship when she passed shortly before I turned 18 years old.
Small minds talk about people(!), but my parents were a financial mess. Even though they both had better than decent jobs they worried about having things (TVs, used cars, etc.) and throwing parties, barbecues and get togethers. The same faces would show up every time, eat, get drunk and 'Goodbyes' all around when food fatigue finally set in. Only recently have I seen that I have to break the cycle and do better AWAY from them if my family is truly going to climb out of the mundane, mediocre and stagnant practices we've been doing for decades.

The "Thou shalt not covet...''. commandment is very important to our sense of well being. There are many poor people who lead contented and comfortable lives simply because they don't fall into the trap of coveting. I believe coveting is what creates more discontented criminals than anything else. Of course there are desperate things that happen in life that can cause desperate situations and need.

I always was the type of person who get too attached to things and have difficulties letting go of stuff, and i'm still kind of are, to be honest, but i think it's way less then before. My dad would always repeat to me that being heartless or cold sometimes and just walking away from toxic environment and relationships, or anything that won't do me anything beneficial, will be the right choice in the long run, and that even if i cry for a couple minutes at first, i would never regret it in the future. He was talking from his own personal experience, and then it even happened multiple times to me, and I'm sure to most people too. And he was right! Saying "f*ck it" and cutting ties with people/things who don't deserve our time and energy really is great! And now it just give me big feelings of relief even though it hurts me a bit depending on the situation.
