Not quiet I have a couple critiques that I listed in my own comment.....would be if this were a regular punch but idealy your not grounded with this one when it lands so technique is much more important and there's more to this punch than throwing a hook while stepping into it

I say this with love; you're throwing your hook wrong. Hold your fist as though you're holding a shield (with your thumb up, instead of to the side.) You get more power (your swing stays more connected with your hip rotation,) and you're pretty much guaranteed not to impact your thumb. Keep training brother! I'm proud of you 💪🏻
