      A lot of the strip casinos used or still use these American half dollar coins to pay out $25 blackjacks or 5% commission on baccarat banker hands to act like a 50cent chip
      Most casinos have implemented a $2.50 chip commonly pink for these pay outs also called a snapper
      I like to switch things up and had a elder friend recommend I add them to my tray once in a while as in his day this is what was used
      1964s are a significant year because back then American coins were made of mostly pure silver and that is why todays quarters have that brown copper strip to keep the cost down when minting new coins 🪙
