- Ohai! People asked for a Get to Know Me video, but this is really just a silly ASMR ramble. There's some tapping and a quick channel update too, as well as some kitty cameos. Mostly, it's just goofy.

hi nichole, i know you don’t upload anymore and probably don’t check your comments. and i understand why. but i just want to let you know how much your videos help me, even if i am talking to myself haha. i feel like i really relate to you in terms of your mental health struggles and tastes, etc. i have struggled with my mental health my entire life. recently, i was in a motorcycle accident. a lady pulled out in front of me. i almost lost my left leg. i have several traumatic injuries but i won’t go into detail here. i have been watching you so much more recently during this difficult time, although i have watched you for years. every time i get in my head i come to your videos so i can get away from myself. thank you. i hope you are doing well.
Did she ever explain why she left? I only found her months ago but she's helping during a very hard time right now

I had to come back and watch this video after watching your farewell video. You are such a beautiful person- I remember watching your earlier videos and thinking "I've never seen someone so vibrant, and smiling all the time". It really made me happy to see you sparkle. I hope that you will find peace, and find this happy Springbok again someday- whether or not you are able to return to creating content, we are so blessed for what you have given us. Also, I love that you are a crazy cat lady just like me!!!

I've been searching and searching and searching youtube for the perfect ASMR video to help me sleep, and even though this video is almost a year old, for some reason, the real factor of an ASMR artist was the video that made me be able to relax and experience ASMR! This video definitely helped me relax tonight. Thank you!

The thing about your feelings of insecurity were the most interesting to me. I'm very insecure myself and only very recently got to know why. I'm particularly insecure in certain situations and have developed a surface to hide it, even to hide it from myself, and it's only much later that I consciously understand how tense and stressed I was. It happens usually when there are many people I don't know, when there are beautiful girls around me or when someone is trying to get to know me, willing to see my soul. The rational fact that I'm a very intelligent young man and not at all a disgusting view to look at doesn't help me either.
I know how you feel, but I'm female. Haha
I'm terrified of spiders. I once ordered a takeaway just so I could ask the driver to kill it for me. I lost a few man points that day.

I could relate so much to a lot of what you were saying (fellow rain lover, book collector, philosophy nut and basically you, but with more casual obscenity in language and minus the blonde cuteness :p)

It's amazing the effect Springbok had on people, such universal acclaim and gratitude, a really unique effect that I've rarely, if ever, seen among the many ASMR content creators I've watched. There's a term that didn't even exist when this one was produced, "content creator." I've been going through her old videos all morning after watching a couple of her new ones in 2024. Yes, she's back!

It was no nice to hear about you in the real world. I wanted to thank you for sharing. I know you said this was hard for you, and I just wanted to let you know how much I sincerely loved learning more about you. It's funny because with so many things that you said, I felt like we could be good friends if we knew each other.
I lived in Seattle for a short while and I understand why you love it so much. Washington is probably one of the most beautiful places in the whole world. (Not that I have seen much of it) I have done some traveling and I have been to Southeast Asia as well. I spent some time in Malaysia and Singapore for a business trip 5 years ago. It was a really cool place and I loved exploring. I was their during Chinese New Year so it was a very special time. And I absolutely LOVED the Singapore National Orchid Museum.
I recently retired from working as an engineer due to health reasons, and I am just starting out on my own working from home with my own business. But I am surrounded by engineers all the time, and sometimes it is nice to talk about girly things. I don't have a lot of people to do that with right now. It is really cool that you own a pop-up clothing boutique. I could actually really use some advice about clothes for some events I have coming up in a few months. Maybe could I PM you to get some help. I absolutely love your style. I swing dance with my husband, so I love to wear a lot of vintage inspired pieces. I especially love full circle skirts and dresses.
Anyway, thank you for sharing about yourself. I have only started listening to your channel recently. But I love the sound of your voice and listening to your videos really calms me down for sleep or if I am feeling a panic attack coming on. So thank you for helping me so much.

I have the opposite of claustrophobia (agoraphobia I think?) so I can't do deserts. Or space.

I work in a contact center and we support a ton of languages. Swedish is one of them. And my coworker who speaks Swedish answers the phone with "Hei-hei". The first time I heard her say that I thought she was talking to a friend. To my delight, that's a normal greeting. Swedes can be unusual sometimes :)

I just call my cat "Cat" he spends almost all of his time outside and mostly takes care of himself. He doesn't ever meow around me and only visits for food and to be brushed.

My name is Ken and I learned at age 3, that I had ASMR. That was in 1975 and NOBODY spoke of such a thing back then. Any time I tried to explain to someone why I was watching Bob Ross or Julia Child video's all the time, they looked at me as if I had injected heroin into the soft spot of a baby's head.
Before TH-cam, I had started watching Mother Angelica Live, not for religion but for the ASMR-esque nature of the show. Many Thanks to you and all of the other ASMRtists such as Heather Feather, Gentle Whispering, The Water Whispers, etc. You have literally reduced my stress levels tremendously and for that I am very grateful. I understand that life happens but PLEASE... Please... make a return.
Normally i pass out asleep with your videos in 10min. But i actually sat attentively for the whole thing.

Nichole! First of all, I LOVE YOUR POSITIVITY!!! It helps me in my own quest to stay positive in a world that can seem so gloomy sometimes. As for a bit about me... I love hip-hop culture more than anything else in the world. Rap music, streetwear, I love it all passionately. Ironically enough I was a classical musician through middle and high school. I also love building computers and keeping up to date with technology. And ASMR, which I discovered maybe six months ago. Anyway, many thanks and positive thoughts from Oregon!!

I'm a 22 year old painter who is trying to better himself and do more art. I've had a tough time lately enjoying my art-making and I have a procrastinating issue that i think has something to do with my self confidence. even though people have told me that i paint very well, and have asked me for paintings, i still have had to struggle with the own negative self esteem that i have. i have had an existential crisis since i was 18 and Buddhism has helped find peace with myself and the rest of Creation as well as my own creative talent. lately it has been starting to flourish and i thank meditation and my buddhist teachers for giving me the skills to work with my mind. I really like the art school i go to. the students are really nice and the teachers are really helpful. i had a shitty room mate last year though. he was extremely negative all the time and he talked badly of our teachers and fellow students. he was also very dirty and inconsiderate and never cleaned up after himself. i hope to never see him in my school again, because i feel that he brought a bad, judgmental vibe that i didnt like. My favorite painters are Jackson Pollock, Edward Hopper, Anthony Van Dyck, Peter Paul Rubens, Leonardo DaVinci, Manet, Vincent Desiderio, Jenny Saville, George Bellows, George Tooker, Jared French and John Singer Sargent among others.
I cried for the first time in a long time about a week and a half ago. it was a cathartic moment and it had to do with my relationship with my artwork. i have since then felt lighter in my chest.
I smoke marijuana every now and then and it has given me moments of insight into my creativity and inner goodness that i have been able to learn from.
I've never met my father and i have lived with just my mother for all my life. i havent had the best relationship with her the last few years because she was really hard on me for things i couldnt control as well as curse and yell at me when she was drunk at family parties or when people visited, and it made me develop chronic anxiety that i have been getting over the last year and i feel like our relationship is getting better as i follow the path of healing.
I had a past life regression experience once with a guy i had just met. in the experience, we both remembered being brothers in a past life in a country where there was a civil war. we both died at different times. him and i are best friends now and we only refer to each other as brothers.

I lived in Japan for a year. I'm a automotive racing nut. I love driving and watching both. When I'm not doing that or playing hockey im diving head first into a new hobby week to week. I Always click your videos in hope of being able to fall asleep but you're to interesting and it ends with the time being 2.00 AM and I'm still awake. So what is there to do when it's that late? Well I'll right the names of my cats of course!
Okay so I had 5 cats, I sold one and the other disappeared *tear*, so the mom is named Pepita and I'm not sure where the name came from but it's her name... and I have the Children, Panda is the name of the first kitty because he's black and White, Fluffy is the name of the second (who disappeared) because he was kinda fluffy even tho he was short haired which doesn't make sense now that I'm thinking about it, Tolouse is the name of the kitty we sold when he was like 3 months old and his name is like the cat from the Movie Aristocats and.... don't hate me but I ran out of creativity, the fourth kitty's name is Girl, like literally Girl or The Girl, I Think it became her name because we didn't exactly call her anything for like 2 weeks and finally just started Calling her by that. They're all Norwegian Forest Cats too so they're really hairy except for the mom and Fluffy but as I said earlier, he disappeared.
So happy you talked about Sweden and our weird way of speaking, that really brought a smile to my face.
I hope you understand that the whole "Hicole" thing was just a Little joke :D

Man, I dunno how you're so smart and so happy simultaneously, that's pretty odd, but good odd. There's a positive correlation between intelligence and depression, so being an oddity on that scale is fortunate.
I think that's a very cogent point. The more we learn, the more complex our thinking becomes. We see certain problems cannot be solved simply and certain injustices remain unchecked. I'm certainly not happy all the time, but I try to be as appreciative of what I have as possible. I try to be a skeptic, but never a cynic.

Seriously, it was great to learn a bit about you, as I've found your last few videos thoroughly enjoyable from both an ASMR and informative perspective. You have a gentle, genuine undercurrent to your voice that achieves the tingle effect that many people struggle to mimic. Anyway, thanks for your efforts and hope to see more of you in the future.

I suffer from pretty bad spouts of anxiety and have looked countless times on youtube for ASMR videos, as it really helps with calming me down. So far, I'd say you were one of the best I've seen, keep it up! :) Also, I'm from Manchester in England, where bernard summer is from, and I'm really into new order and joy division too!

My female cat is Josie (you might know her and her band, the Pussycats) and my male cat is Tybalt (because he is the Prince of Cats). :D I frequently tell them "CAN YOU NOT?" as if they understand it and will respond to me.
I just started watching your videos and something about your voice, affect, and energy taps into a waaaaaay-back part of my brain. I don't know if it's a vague memory, or just a connection, or some sort of neurological quirk. But it's lovely. Thanks for bringing your gentleness, positivity, and generous spirit to all of us. :)
Your channel has grown SO FAST !! Huge congratulations. It also goes to show you that the little things like hand tremors that you were a little worried about mean absolutely nothing, and your elegance and natural talent in regards to ASMR prevail.
Also, I watch ASMR videos before bed. Whenever I see a new video from you, I smile and sigh at the same time. I sigh for a good reason that is also both bad, and it's bad because I end up forcing myself to sit through the entire video because it's so wonderful and I get LESS sleep! :') Oh well, I can't have my cake and eat it too.

I just discovered your channel, really, really loving your vids, and your kitties! ^^ I have 3 cats myself, 2 tuxedos named Cheesecake and Meep, and one British Shorthair named Feshiek. They originally had different names, but I go totally crazy when surrounded by animals, which often is accompanied by me making weird sounds, trying to communicate with them, and thus, the weird names just pop up, and evolve with time :D
Meep is getting spayed today, I'm getting all stressed out about it, ugh!

I love that you mindfuck us by looking and sounding like a beautiful angel and then reading what you read and listening to what you listen to and by being so intelligent.
