My work is fixing rental houses. What needs fixed, I fix. So if the plumbing is leaking, I fix it. If the floor needs replaced, I replace it. Things like that.
Foll the coffeemaker with half white vinegar and 1/2 cold water and turn it on. When it's done, run three more fullnpots of cold water to rinse away the vinegar. Clean it like this monthly to avoid mineral buildup.
I'm always buy Mr coffee same model just with on and off switch for a $22 from Walmart this is looks the same but less than a half a price, Even for $13 is great price, they don't give you just the empty coffee pot for that price
Thanks for the useful review! If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do for work? I’m unemployed and looking for tips

Bought our Mainstay 3 years ago (Walmart-$11.20, including tax). Is there a way to remove the internals to give them a good scrubbing?
Sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure. It probably is possible to just unplug the hoses and try to clean them out.

@@jasonschlesinger5343 Cool! My dad told me the same thing in order for me to clean my coffee maker.
So did the watts usage go down after it finished brewing the coffee? Like when it's just keeping it warm?
It cycles from 850's to 0, back to 850's. It's either on or off, and turns off when it reaches the temperature it wants.
most drip will use over 800 watt, most kettles used 1200 in North America.
Nice!

I'm surprised they charge so much for empty coffee pot. I noticed.

Yeah I wants to purchase a new pot replacement for my Mr coffee maker In Amazon or Walmart is about $20 so go figure!
Good old Mainstays from Wally World. -- That's my kind of coffeepot. I don't care for bells and whistles.
Same! I never heard of Walmart being called Wally World. Did it used to be called that?
@@extralock1045 It was what teens and young adults called it while my kids were growing up, at least here in the South. I still hear it occasionally.
