This was Awesome! Thanks for doing this! I am so happy Warlocks look like they will be decent healers, I currently have 2 that I have leveled up and have found them the most fun, I don't like my cleric, have a Pally as a tank and a GWF.

I leveled up to 70 and started my Campaigns. Midway through the Ravenloft Campaign, I re-spec-ed my Paragon to Damnation because the mobs in Barovia were eating me alive. Mod 16 Kept playing as a Hellbringer for DPS. Made it through Undermountain Campaign as Hellbringer. Started on the Master Expeditions and one of my Parties one day, ask me if I had Healer abilities. Thanks for your great and very informative videos. You are funny and real that the same time. And as a warlock DPS, I think you have encouraged me to take a step out of my comfort zone and try soulweaver. Blueberry Bubbilicious is the best.
Healing has never been my thing, but seeing as they add many diverse healing spells is a good change. You have your AoE-burst heals, your HOTs (healing over time), shields and single-target-burst heals. As long as the game supports diversity in boss fights and boss mechanics, this will be a really needed change and will force players to think a bit before slotting spells and not just use the same ones 24/7. A good healer will never run with something like 3 burst-heals in his bar constantly. Diversity and changing on the fly is the key to winning here. If you find that you are not in need of 3 or even 2 healing spells at any occasion, just swap one out for a damaging spell or a shield.
There is a great combination of eucalyptus, mint and lemon that I really enjoy. Btw, thanks for this informative video. I may have some NW related questions on Discord if you don't mind.
@@justinhunter8056 Just take a look at the Neverwinter subreddit, it's full of morons whining about it ( amongst other dumbass things that only mmos try hard nerds care about...).

Yay I'm so happy that my 2 preferred toons are going to survive the mod 16 drop. I have Devo pally and templock. Ty for your continued insight into mod 16. Btw my favourite gum flavour is mild mint.
Thanks for making the video! I respecced out of Soulbinder a long time ago because the jumping up and down animation ended up getting on my nerves. :/ Maybe I'll change my mind since my Warlock has become one of my favorite characters. I'll find out! I'm knocking the "sh quests only" dust off my cleric also. While I still think these are exciting times for NW, I have become a bit nervous over the weeks M-16 has been on the preview server.
So in the first part of the video you're playing a cleric, in FBI, with dead people all over the place, and you don't see a reason to use your best heals? I get it, you've been playing Neverwinter a long time. Heals haven't been all that important since what, mod 10? But in your own video you showcase how you fail spectacularly. It's not what you're used to, where NOW using your best heals is actually IMPORTANT. Welcome back to the HOLY TRINITY! I know that's not a popular topic in MMOs anymore, but that IS what Neverwinter is aiming at. If that kills it or not, meh. But it IS what it is NOW.
I haven't really paid much attention to this but as I play both actual d&d 5e rp gaming an nwn. However I've noticed the 5e rp cleric carries a shield in every paragon you could choose from with only exceptions to being different is some where able to use all weapons an armors like a pally, but nwn mod which is suppose to be going 5e an would make it more of an interesting heal tank imo.
I feel like the presentation of the Cleric in this video was unfair. The build used was in a way, non end-game. One of your point was that we need to spend time using Channel Divinity but if you use the right build you never have to use it and can focus on healing and dps 100% of the time. This makes the class feel a whole lot smoother, more useful, and like a bigger part of the group.
Not possible to prove "best DPS" at this point. Even those of us who are on preview recording ACT every day are still figuring out optimal builds, let alone party composition's effect on each DPS class.
there isnt a bis, just dps that are good in situations... buttttt gwf(atwills actually do damage ), cw(cc + damage, always useful ), sw(soul puppet + curses are awesome + self heals + good damage ) are the best dps/useful classes for most situations
As an xbox player; I've always prefered playing hellbringer templock over the soul spark one. Debuffing enemies' outgoing dps by 5% with hellish rebuke at will and shredding their defense with dreadtheft, buffing with pillar of power, and aoe damage with fiery bolt. I also use brood of hadar daily for a massive heal of time. I am a hybrid of decently high dps & heals while simultaneously buffing & debuffing.
Warlocks have stronger healing than my DC wft dc is built to heal but we cant heal as much as a warlock. Criptic DC needs to be the strongest healers that's our job fix it please and thank u. Lv your vids sis keep it up😀😘
eh. If a Warlock Paragon path is specified as a healer then they should be able to heal. Just like your Dps paragon path can dish out damage, Warlock healing paragon path can heal. tbh I've heard that Warlock's healing capabilities are terrible, so I'm not sure what you mean really. Another thing is that Clerics are wanted so much. Usually, if a Warlock healer joins they will be kicked in favour of a Cleric all the time, because people know, or at least think, that clerics are better healers.
Watching your teammates die 4 times on druffy was pretty fun as you talked about you being full heals and then saying its boring. None of teammates merged during ice attack. I seriously hope you where pugging but i dont think you where.

Hi Silver...Thanks for the tank-healer comparision videos :) what's your thoughts about what class is the best dps this mod? and is cleric viable as dps? Thanks again.
My favorite class has always been the Warlock and it makes me happy to see its not like everyone else is saying. I think theres so much negativity that its hard to get a good idea of what theyve done to my fave class. Ty for thid vod and demostration 😁
Kinda surprised they didnt give the wizard a heal class(white mage), and also off topic I'm most interested in the dreadnought fighter/gf an I was curious if their was a build tecommend for mod 15?
I'm new to the game and came to this vid by accident, but this happens to have a huge importance on my class choice. I really like the warlock mechanic of dps/healing, but it seemd like you couldn't heal enough (most of the times) during the video, after ppl get hit by a huge amount of dmg. Is this a real statement? Cuz i'm looking for a healer class that can solo the game content with ease, and warlock looked like the best class to it, but lacking heals

I'm having zero trouble with divine management on my cleric healer.
There are three major things I identified which made me have divine management issues before:

The two other powers I use are Intercession and either Cleansing Light (to remove debuffs) or Exaltation (for extra healing boost).

I was able to quickly notice that in some parties, people tend to stand scattered all over the place. That makes things hard for a healer to heal, especially during boss fights when the blows can be considerably deadlier. So players need to be "educated" to stand closer so that one Bastion of Heal affects them all (maybe except the tank), instead of casting individual healing on every player and wasting divinity so much faster.
3. My overall play-style as a healer in a group
I took a step back to analyze what I was doing in the group. I was easy to find out as a healer I wasn't there to deal damage.
