This goes to show that even some of the greatest pool players to ever play the game are only human, and that even the most Professional of players, have human emotions, and emotionally act out at times. Some of those calls by the Ref were just horrible too, and really did not need a replay, because they were clearly good hits.

On the last shot with Alex, I believe it is the same match where his cue actually caught on fire from the strong lights in the arena during the first frame of the match! It was crazy! Missing a ball hill hill it's nothing special I believe nowdays, compared to have your cue almost turn into a charcoal piece before your very eyes!
I'd LOVE to see a video of good sportsmanship. I know it's hard to find but it would be refreshing. I know there are tons of examples of players calling fouls on themselves. There's the one where no one heard SVB call an extension but his opponent backed him. There are some with Corey, Efren, and of course almost any of the women. And there are many you would not expect.. even Earl, Frost, Mika, and others who are known for being difficult can at times be good sports.
Pretty good compilation. But there's an unfortunate trend here. Notice how many of these controversies were caused by tired, old, incompetent referees. Get rid of them. Hell, I'll be a replacement referee if we need one...

I can understand the ref’s thinking on the second clip (called for measuring), but his mistake was simply calling it far too quickly. There’s no way he could tell the different between measuring and genuinely trying to place the ball with care that quickly.
