Astondoa Coupe 655

The 655' Coupe is the first model built within the new and exclusive range of yachts that replace Astondoa’s Open range.
The Coupe range marks a change towards ships that are increasingly modern, sporty, original and bold. There are three other models in this range-355’, 555’ and 755’-and they will soon become a reality.
The 655’ Coupe is a yacht with clean and sporty lines that the company has created to mark its 100-year history. Special aspects of the design include a bow at an inverted angle, a superstructure that is fully enclosed in glass, stairs leading to the upper sundeck, and a tiered aft deck in line with the style used in large ships.
Starting at the stern, there are two engines under the aft sunbed as well as a crew cabin. The aft deck is protected by an overhang that holds the antenna arch, and two side corridors lead to the bow that houses a transit area as well as a spacious V-shaped sunbed.
There are as many as three areas for sunbathing, which clearly shows the ship’s purpose with a strong sense of practicality and leisure. To access to rooftop area, stairs have been installed on both sides of the front glass, with handrails for added safety. The rooftop sunbed fits up to three people and offers maximum privacy. The front area of the main deck expands to increase the amount of usable space.
The cabin has an aluminium superstructure, a 100% carbon-infused ceiling and a fully retractable door with a mechanism that hides the door to enter the ship, transforming the deck into an open area.
The 655' Coupe remains true to the spirit of Astondoa’s luxury ships and stands out for the quality materials and high-end finishes. The elegant and sporty design includes practical and functional elements. Most of the space has been allocated to the indoor saloon and its fantastic views, and the galley has been moved to the lower level. The remaining indoor areas have a sophisticated design and a masterful combination of the best woods, varnishes, steel and glass. The areas and layouts have been carefully analysed to give the ship a strong sense of comfort and spaciousness.
Since the 655' Coupe is focused on convenience, it includes solutions to guarantee a fluid transit between areas. The aft lounge and the cabin interior are very well connected. The ship’s interior capacity makes it possible to fit three en suite cabins. One is the VIP cabin in the bow, which has a bed facing the stern, the second is the guest cabin with two single beds adjacent to the galley, and the third is the owner’s exclusive cabin located at the midpoint of the vessel. All the cabins are fully equipped and designed in line with the rest of the ship.
There are three engine options. The standard includes two Volvo IPS 1200 D13 900 HP engines, and the optional alternatives include two MAN V8 1200 and two Caterpillar C18 1150 engines for a maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.

No está mal el salto a otro tipo de diseños,soy consciente de todo el trabajo que hay con cada modelo!!, solo espero que hayan mejorado en calidad y acabados para ponerse a la altura de otros Astilleros Ingleses e Italianos.
