Hydrox deserves more popularity and people nowadays says that Hydrox copied Oreo even tho Oreo was the one who copied it. Let's pray that Hydrox will become successful.

If he wants to bring back another great product I'd suggest banana flips in regular and chocolate with banana cream in the middle. Kind of like a cross between a taco and a large twinkie with way more cream filling. Always my favorite as a kid.

I started eating many healthy things that tasted weird or off-putting at first and now are delicious. To give you an example: I can eat pure cocoa powder (from the baking section) which has 0.5% sugar in it and can actually taste the sweetness. It is also bitter, but mildly, so overall it is enjoyable. But it might shock someone who regularly binges on junk candy.

Hydrox is better. We ate those over the Oreo in the Southwest. Less sweet and you can taste more of the chocolate. As I recall Hydrox avoided using lard for the creme while Oreo only ditched it over the last 7 years.
I've had both. Hydrox has a bit more flavor to it. More chocolate in the cookie. And the filling is softer and a bit sweeter. The only advantage Oreo has is the cookie is softer. But that's about it. Not as flavorful.
Well they were pretty popular with good reputation and keeping the name will bring its followers/supporters... changing the name will make them look like a new product that probably will get lost in the ocean of oreo Like cookies. Good cookie ? I never liked Oreo, it didn' t taste. I thought it was created much later, made with charcoal and without milk, and didn't know it had a better predecessor. I don't think Hydrox is a good name, but if I see them, I will buy them. I try to avoid Mondelez as I try to avoid buying from Nestlé, but they have too many brand names that I sometimes fail (greek Loumides coffee in greece, it tasted terrible and then I read Nestlé in small print)
I grew up eating Hydrox-- I think because they were cheaper, and my mom always went for bargains. When I got older and found that Oreos had lard in their cream filling, it grossed me out, and I was glad that we'd bought Hydrox. I don't buy cookies anymore, because they are one of many types of food that I will eat like a vacuum cleaner, pigging out on an entire family package in mere days.

In Malaysia, there's a knockoff version called Cream-O which is more cheaper than Oreo. It's also a better option if you find Oreo is too sweet.

@@hfl_ Thomas Edison would regularly steal others ideas and market it as his own. He ruined Tesla's life by using dirty tricks such as electrocuting an elephant to prove that AC power is dangerous. I'm not going to list everything bad he has done as it is a long list but he's pretty bad.

Sunshine Hydrox. I must have eaten a ton of them. I preferred them over Oreos. I liked dunking them in tea (with milk) or milk.
This is so sad, but at the same time hydrox never made an effort to advertise themselves better, Oreo always had the upper hand in marketing.

Good cookie ? I never liked Oreo, it didn' t taste. I thought it was created much later, made with charcoal and without milk, and didn't know it had a better predecessor. I don't think Hydrox is a good name, but if I see them, I will buy them. I try to avoid Mondelez as I try to avoid buying from Nestlé, but they have too many brand names that I sometimes fail (greek Loumides coffee in greece, it tasted terrible and then I read Nestlé in small print)

I grew up eating Hydrox-- I think because they were cheaper, and my mom always went for bargains. When I got older and found that Oreos had lard in their cream filling, it grossed me out, and I was glad that we'd bought Hydrox. I don't buy cookies anymore, because they are one of many types of food that I will eat like a vacuum cleaner, pigging out on an entire family package in mere days.
