If you didn't get chills listening to this mans voice, are you even human? The nr. 1 spot for best singers of all time are in my opinion shared by 2 men, Freddie Mercury and Chester Bennington. No one will ever reach their level. He just walks in there and does a cover that's a million times better than the original without anything, just his own raw power and he's doing it sitting, like singing this was no challenge at all. We truly love and miss you Chester, you saved millions, but millions couldn't save you.

This is an exceptionally difficult song to sing, and if they really did just "practice it once" then him coming out and performing it as well as he did, basically a cappella (no disrespect to Mike's barely audible guitar playing, but I mean really) is nothing short of extraordinary. If anything, the couple of times his voice cracks when he can't quite hit the note he's going for make the performance *better*, more real, not worse.
Fam you do realize that you can't have a guitar not hearable at the distance between the two right? It's clearly the camera only capturing mostly the higher pitch sound (as you can also notice from how the guitar sounds).
I was in a mediocre band for a while, but we had a really good female singer. She refused to even attempt this song. I’m shocked at how great Chester sings it.

There's another version on stage during a proper concert, also very good, and a little cleaner as I think they had practiced it more by then. Also, check out their version of Sabotage, equally impressive! Oh, oh, and Blackout live (I think in Germany, Chester is in the middle of the stage with big drums in front of him) was amazing, too. They played all of the different sounds on a bunch of instruments live on stage and it was exceptional. Such an amazing band, especially live. Real shame they'll never be like this again.
