Totally agree!!! This era of hardstyle could make me crumble with emotion. So much passion in the melody. It could truly rest on its melody. Played slow on a piano it would still be amazing. With the tempo, the bass, the saw .. it's just, perfect. Like nothing there ever was before it. I love hardstyle.
I love this music so god damn much but maybe it's so emotional to you because you used to put in emotions in what you listened to back then which you might not be doing as much now and therefore it's the nostalgia that makes this so much better?
Supamaan98 That's definitely a part of it. I listened to it during a very emotional period of my life, where I learned a lot about myself and had many negative and positive experiences. The contrast was immense. I'm probably too biased by these experiences to truly answer, but I still stand by my sentiment to the beauty of this music
I am pretty new to the hardstyle scene and I can say, without a doubt that these older songs have more passion put into them. The hard rhytm, with the melody just makes it sound more flowy and fulfilling in a way, just makes it more "complete".. I like the new songs aswell, there are really good ones but I still prefer the ones during this time.
the already made hardstyle will never be gone, the new is not the same as the old, but in the future they might return to this old you refer to. Just hope you live long enough and endure the time in between with the hardstyle you do like and already is made

I used to live my live alone with my mom when i was a kid i always complained about being alive and having to do all those task and to suffer.
