My wife and I are new to the Jeep world... got a JKU less than a year ago... headed to Turner falls this September and are really considering checking out Crossbar Ranch... but are literally clueless of what the jeep JKU can or should do or even where to go at that park...... Yall look like yall are having a blast.... love the videos..
First check out our website, www.rocksolidrig.com, look at the store and there are gpx files you can download for free. We use the app Gaia for navigation but there are others, onX is another a lot of people use. Having a map to follow along while out there can keep you from getting super lost! We are on Facebook as well, you can join our group/page and get info from others in the area as well and maybe even hook up with us or others out at the park! Thank you for watching!!

Yeah I always tell people on their first trip that the driver is definitely the weak link and the jeep can and will accomplish more than they're usually ok attempting.
@@RockSolidRig my second time out I went with a group and really got to see what the Jeep could do. Now I’m on 35s with 4.88 gears, need to go back and test them out

@@22supadave wolf caves is some serious wheeling. It was a blast.
Seen a few stock tj's and a jk when we were out in our mildly lifted ranger and had fun wheeling with them and helping them. I have more fun with the full size groups than side x side groups.
Most side by side groups we see are all just flying around racing up obstacles or sitting around drinking lol
From watching video's a lot of the stock videos I see on trails biggest issues is a lot of them have road tires. A good set of AT's would really help them a lot more, but hay it's a daily driver and not every one wants to be a rock climber. I was kinda surprised when just looked up the clearance on wranglers is 8.3" to 10" for a stock Rubicon (this might be old info). It's interested what a little lift and some tires can do.
