    Congatulations, that’s a nice inshore snook. Fla in the spring you’ll ALWAYS have wind. Try to find a bridge at night and fish live shrimp. Use those bobbers to suspend them off bottom and drift them past structure. See if you can find some tarpon. That’ll make your trip!

    That snook was sick. I got a few of those xraps over the winter because you guys have had so much success with them. You should get a commission on them. Can't wait to use them next week on Oswego River. It's like fishing in an aquarium down there.

    Great job handling the Snook getting him back in safely...but I believe those invasives shouldnt be thrown back, unless it’s a non native grass carp put in to help the problem...just my two cents. Correct me if I’m wrong. But great video guys. It’s amazing how many fish are in these canals. Recently fished a back dock in Cape Coral and caught my limit on mangrove snapper, and a beautiful 25” redfish-released though due to red tide conservation...but still an amazing time with just a $3.50 Florida resident shore license.

    Nice catches, it looks like you all had a good time and caught something. I was impressed to see you knew your cichlid species names. Were you ever into the fish-keeping/aquarium hobby or did you learn the species names from a past trip? Keep at it Chris, we all love your vids.

    Nice giant snook!!! That doesn`t happen every day and not to everyone.
    So, go to Ever Glades, tons of fish, big bass and others species. Just go all the way west on the trail (no boat I guess) and you will find fish. Spots near the roads are over fished.

    I live in Florida, but I would not eat a fish caught in any canal here. The water is very contaminated. Nine people died last year from Vibrio, a bacteria fed by fertilizers and other agricultural runoff from big corporate farms in the middle of the state. Flood control here is basically a state agency that controls the level of the water to be ideal for the corporate farms in the middle of the state. They flood residential areas with all this contaminated water to do it. When the first settlers came here, the Indian river lagoon was crystal clear and you could see everything on the bottom. Today, standing on my dock on the lagoon, I can see about three inches down into what looks like coffee. If I'm thinking about ordering seafood in a restaurant, I ask if it was caught locally. If they say yes, I order a hamburger. Seriously, if you value your health, do not swim or eat seafood in Florida. Go to the Bahamas if you want to swim in uncontaminated water and catch fish that are safe to eat.

  • @shaney3116
    @shaney3116 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I'm pretty sure you have to go through Georgia to get to Florida. Next time you pass through and dont stop by here at lake hartwell and fish some of these big stripers and hybrids I'm unsubscribing 🤔🤔🤔 they are just starting to turn on good and are headed up the rivers out of the main lake. We whacked em about 3 days ago on a glass ghost xrap and a little 4 inch white swimbait. Lots of double hook ups on kayaks. Well worth the paddle upstream.

In less than a 5 minute drive from where you guys where at its "every cast fish on " spots . And in the everglades everything will work but plain old plastic worms are the best . LG mouth every cast . No joke .
