I'm more known for my Torchlight Infinite videos. However, I used to enjoy POE. Please help me find a good league starter (minions??)
Also some tips for returning players would be appreciated!

There’s a build coming back called dark marionettes that plays exactly like charge calling. You could start as srs and transition into it once the minion becomes readily available. The official Poe channel even has a video about it
I like the sound of using the same character to respec!

I think YT ate my comment.. but ditto on the Ghazzy for minion and Pohx for RF guides. Both are very thorough to help scale from zero gear to end game. Pohx has a fully dedicated website to answer every question you can think of related to RF and just did an updated video yesterday. I'll be trying Shield Charge ignite myself to just dash from pack to pack with many explosions.
Shield charge does enough damage?
@@Gooba03 All melee skills got buffed this league, and ignite damage is based off hit damage, so shield charge got a sizable 2, up to 3x dmg buff on absolute high end with all the changes. But definitely not a build I can recommend for you without either currency or more game knowledge. All of your damage is based on the armor/evasion on your shield plus abusing phys as extra X element with Elementalist all damage can ignite to really ramp up the damage. I won't be using Shield Charge as main skill until later in maps when I have a good shield to avoid upgrading shields every few levels.

Welcome to insanity gooba. You can follow Ghazzy's builds. Zoomancer is fking ridiculous to play. Or srs guardian which is just a walking simulator but actually good. Problem with his builds are he doesn't really cater to beginners so I would start with zizaran's bleed gladiator, his builds are always reliable

@coffeecrankgaming check this girls pob is really nice done for noobs. After that you can go: BAMA, Kitana's Thirst, SRS of Enormity or you can switch to Elementalist lightning conduit. Or you ca check jungroan hcssf miner or DD of chain reaction.

Minions are strong too!!! Especially SRS. So u got it right. Slayers/berserkers would be very strong, the warden and Inquisitor.
As you can play for long(farm enough)( mostly he push the builds to their top end), best choice is to look to CaptainLance, never disappointed with his starters. And mostly are capable to do anything

@@Gooba03 in my 8 years exp of poe lance and mbx are the most informative. Mbx is hard to follow, sometimes he advance so fast that people acuse him in rnt.:D

exsanguinate mines, good damage, cheap, fast, smooth playstyle with automatic mine detonation and auto targeting enemies, gets to t16s within 100c for comfortable farming.

Its a amazing Build that comes online really well and is very strong in the Endgame!

The melees are roided to the gills this league. Minions are always strong, all in all it's a buff league. The only thing is they removed Raider, but was replaced by a far more stronger one which is the Warden.

Zizarian has a couple out so far, lacerate super tank gladiator is looking good.

Did see this creator's video about different minion builds and their ranking th-cam.com/video/vZB5fCBr32k/w-d-xo.html . My question is for you what playstyle do you want? Poe is not torchlight infinite and picking the wrong starter build will waste a lot of hours/days. There are many creates in the POE community that have no concept of what the lower 90% of the player base can play, so be careful. I have played over 7k hours and only play low button punching builds, pretty sure from seeing your builds on Torchlight Infinite that you after the same kind of playstyle.
Indeed. 1 dash, 1 skill please. I used to play CWDT Wardloop by DontRageQuitBro. But I think that build is dead? Also, I would need a refresher on my math if I was giving that a go haha. 7000 hours is crazy! I'm only at 2000 for Torchlight! Although that's in 1 year...
This is very true. If you just search on TH-cam for league start build you will probably encounter many 'bait' builds. Even big names have bait builds so beware.
@Gooba03 Yeah, they killed wardloop by nerfing the flask:( might be someone that can figure something out, but I would not bet on it. If wardloop is your kind of build, then Herald of thunder autobomber might be for you. It's a 0-button build that uses low value unique gear to get started. But it's not something you can do until you get around 100-200 chaos orbs. SRS has been an S tier starter for many leagues, and you could start it with Guardian or Necromancer (both can be switched later if you want to try Herald of Thunder by going elementalist or inquistor)

I played holy relic in 3.24 and it was stupidly strong, and I played with my friend on a private server (almost no trading to help). Mechanicly and clear speed is S+ with even low investment. I did all t17 bosses and a few of the uber bosses. Highly recommend this one.

Summons sucks in this game now unfortunately. All necro builds wich can do something, very very expensive. Only srs can be fine starter.

@@Gooba03 You can check "Maw of Mischief Elementalist" build its like a explosive golems in torchlight. Check video from Tripolar Bear "Insane Damage On A BUDGET - Maw of Mischief Elementalist [POE 3.23]" I think this is solid starter with good damage/ And without any special changes in the current season
