Yo this is really cool! Usually I see poker vlogs and videos in Vegas but seeing this in my hometown is really awesome! Totally had to subscribe to this. If I see you at the table, try not to kick my ass too badly lol
@@kayboulaypoker please excuse the unsolicited advice if it isn't welcome, but if i were in your spot, i would watch the lodge's livestream as much as possible starting now to get an idea of how the games play and to hopefully pick up reads on specific players. gonna be a whole different world from mohegan sun 2/5.
yes i like teh play with QJ in the sb.. yes i like this.. dont let variance get you down bub.. keep calling 4x raises pre oop with QJ its a really strong hand bro.. i love QJ honestly
Why shot taking when you can’t even beat the stake you are playing??? Ppl only shot when they are the crushers at their stake and build up a nice comfortable BR. What you are doing is pure gambler’s fallacy. Oh I can’t beat this low stake game so I will be gambling to get my money back at higher stake. This will only get you into deeper hole as the quality of players at higher stake are much better and they can spot a sucker that is shot taking like Corey E. I just don’t get your thinking.
Think bigger - Exposure - Spread the word on his youtube. Not a bad thing to 'invest' aka dust a few thousand for possible growth/marketing/exposure of his channel
You really can’t beat 1/2 or 1/3 games You can be slightly profitable, the only way to beat those games is hit and run, the players are to open and loose… There’s way less skill involved… players don’t respect raise size and any pocket pair or suited connector wants to see a flop and lastly the $500 buy in isn’t enough to scare players into losing True poker begins at 2/5 with a $1500 buy in and 5/10 is actually my favorite… novice players don’t play 5/10, raises are respected and buy ins are big enough that players won’t go nuts
@ Doesn’t matter what stake you play, you need a large enough BR to withstand the ups and downs. I would never advise on shot taking if you are not ready to move up. 5/10 stake is a crap shoot too. Higher stakes doesn’t mean you have all the best players. It all boils down to who has more money that they are comfortable in losing.
First hand was just a cooler. When you have AK, you block AA and KK so usually the best they have is QQ. That said, at small stakes a 4 bet pre flop is almost always AA or KK but mostly AA. Small stakes players just don’t have any 4 bet bluffs.
Chaser's used to be a chinese restaurant. And welcome to my main poker room. Hope to see you there sometime!
Nice vlog,

Your preflop hand selection is terrible. Not surprised at your result.
In my defense, it was a horrendous run of cards this session.
