Riccardo & Yulia are true masters, they have so many more intricate steps in their dances compared to other couples yet at the same time they make their artistry, musicality, precision & technique look so effortless, bravo!

Every couple there have blatantly copied Julia’s moves... showing viewers who is the true master. And yes, Julia dances on the half beat as well as the full beat. She’s the most incredible creature to ever dance these floors.
There is no couple like them. And Julia is such an athlet, has such control of the body; the whole body dancing with thousand small movings; great expression, so perfect ... the couple is sadly missed and will be missed.

Just speaking as someone who's unknowingly spent entire classes whipping her dance partners in the face before, I feel like those hair extensions weren't the best idea. 😂
Riccardo & Yulia are extremely professional & experienced, every routine is perfectly choreographed with hair taken into account hence why you never see Riccardo have any problems, they’re 9 time Latin World champions for a reason!

Always puts a little rye smile on my face when I see all these non American names representing the U.S.A. I can only assume its financially lucrative for them to do that because its certainly cant be patriotism. I wonder how their respective home nations feel about it.
It’s understandable as there’s more sponsorship & opportunity in America dance wise particularly if you’re an elite dancer, but it’s a two way street though as America wouldn’t be winning any tournaments or competitions without these dancers, it’s a win win situation for both the international dancers & America!

The problem with all these dancers is that their too polished and robotic looking. Wash rinse and repeat. They all look the same.
"Robotic" is the word I have just come up with while watching this cha-cha :-)

@@makuletreg15 Anyone is entitled to their opinion :-) I no longer compete, one day my knees decided they could not tolerate the endless hours of training in high heels any more; anyway, I am now rather elderly ;-) Cheers.

Alexandra Wynn. I kinda feel that way too, but the fact is until a female dancer steps up and takes it from Yulia they will continue to reign. Also the competition although very good is not in the same class as it was ten or twenty or so years ago. it would have been interesting to see R&Y against the likes of Brian Watson and Carmen, Slavik and Karina, Formica and lebedew, Skufca and venturini, Killik and Hanna Kartunnen or vibeki toft, Michael and Joanna segey surkov and Melia at their peak. Also they arrived at a time when these phenomenal couples were at or nearing the end of their careers. Sometimes success is as much to do with fortunate timing as anything else.
I have observed & said this before.
Troels & Ina are technically great dancers. It's unfortunate that there is no chemistry between them. Until they get that, fix that or fake that it's going to be really difficult for them to be the best globally.
So true they dance together but they're just not together sometimes they don't seem to even make any connection with each other.
@@joetesta3352 I completely agree. R&Y are what's left from the golden era of Latin dancing. The other couples need to step up.
