    Should always take the floating pins out, clean the old grease inside the holes, clean the floating pins and put new grease or anti seize compound on there.

    Im gonna use that lug nut trick. Always a pain trying to get the bracket bolts on with the rotor moving. Genius

    Great Video! All of the shots have the parts and the work completely in-frame. Unneeded footage has been edited out. This is a very short video that has everything you need and no fluff in under 4 minutes. It even has the sizes of the wrenches that you need. The only thing that could be improved is to include the tightening torque specs. I give this video a 9.9 out of 10. And I'm subscribing to Arty's Garage!

    You are really fast and accurate. Love your video! I changed my brake pads but now I feel that the rotors need to be either surfaced or replaced should I surface them first or just go a head and replace them? The car shake a little tiny bit when I brake in the fast speed.

    and "that should be enough". Have you heard about torque wrench? I can push calipers by hand most of the time.

    • @artysgarage6907
      @artysgarage6907  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I heard of a torque wrench but I'm not putting an engine together their brakes return them up and sometimes you can go and everything will be just fine and good idea to use thread lock like I repeat again you talk down engine components valve cover gaskets anything Manhattan pertain with an engine okay thank you for your concern if you don't know now you know

    • @krecikowi
      @krecikowi 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@artysgarage6907 i know, but that works if you do it often. For people doing it first time its good to use torque wrench 🤔

    Anyone replacing your breaks. Look up A1 autos video Don't use your 7/8th and wrench For a 21mm is called for. You're just end up making it worse impossibly round off the bulk completely interning 20 minute job into a nightmare. and you will make it worse. use the correct size tools . Take the time to lube up your brake hardware and clean Where the hardware is to be placed Who will you be dealing with a brake squeal from hell. Unless it is not your car and your Car and your doing it for a living?? Than just take it apart throughout together.
