Instead of just highlighting the beautiful travel destinations, your videos showed me the real Yangon, the city where I grew up. The stray dogs, street vendors, friendly faces, and even the occasional rip-off artist-all of it brought back memories. I’ve been away from Yangon for almost four years, and I really miss my hometown. FYI, we don't go to hospital in case of food poisoning. We have a home remedy in every household, called Mahar Phaysay which can be translated to Grand Antidote. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Enjoy your stay in Myanmar!

most southeast asian countries teach english even in public schools. Its up to the student if they are willing to learn or not because yknow there are some students who dont bother to learn anything at all.
I live in Laos. They do not teach a lot of English in schools, but knowing English and Mandarin is a huge advantage since many of the well paying jobs have to deal with tourism, or banking and legal counselling and knowing these languages is necessary, otherwise you are pretty much stuck doing manual labor. Even the most popular tuk tuk drivers and fixers know these languages and thus get steady clients. On the other hand if you go to a very industrialized country like Japan knowing English well will not give you as many benefits
Have traveled to more than 100 countries so far; Myanmar is in my top 5 countries I want to visit. Can't wait to come here, hopefully in the near future
@@LasseM-db3qw Honestly, man, much dedication and sacrifice. I moved to China to teach English in 2015 after graduating from University in the U.S. The experience completely changed me, and I wanted nothing more than to travel and see the world. I worked a lot over the years (mostly online), sold a lot of things, and just tried to save my money to travel. Between 2017 and 2020, I worked full-time for six months and then traveled for six months. What I saved working, I spent traveling. And eventually, I was traveling so much to the point that it happened naturally. On average, I have spent about 15 days per country traveled.

@chitsuthae7401 What difficulties are there in Myanmar? I want to visit Myanmar from India, need to explore the Train Journey (Gokteik Viaduct) and Nyapyidaw, Please Advice, Pradeep Raja from India
@pradeeprajha if u visit many places in Myanmar, u have to cross many checkpoints. That's why u take time and some places are difficult to visit. Emm I think Naypyitaw isn't too difficult but I don't know exactly
Stray dog is a big problem here. A kid, near my home, face has a big scare that beaten by stray dog. People have so much kindness for street dogs but they dont think about protection from dogs' attack especially to kids. Ngwesaung beach used to fill with locals but now it is empty because people listen news and use facebook that gives only false information. Between, you are taking a chep ticket again to Ngwesaung , I think. there are good express to Ngwesaung. Like JJ express or other to get VIP seat.
7000 is a bit too much... Taxi drivers will always call for highest price here unless you Haggle. I hope this will be changed someday :( The lady at the ticket booth is extra helpful though.
New sub here from Finland. Young like you but not so cute (33). Is it really okay like other SEA country's. How is it more direfernt? Cheaper than ph/Vietnam?
In ngwesaing the main beach has become a bit polluted bcs there are a lot of travels there. I recommend visiting or exploring the sister beaches near ngwesqung when you get there. They are untouched and they are really pretty.
Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I are planning to visit the amazing country of Myanmar in the first two week of January! I almost canceled the whole trip because I'm not sure if it is safe but it's a dream trip for us and we'd love to be able to do it :-) the plan was to d 4 days in Yangon, then head to Inle lake for a couple of days (might skip that part because of conflict) and hopefully be able to do 4-5 days in Bagan and maybe Mandalay even?? If anyone from Myanmar wants to chat and maybe give me advice and meet up when we're there I'd love that!! cheers :-D
Yangon is like new york, little messy. You sould go Mandalay, Pyin oo lwin, Inn Lay and Bagan. Dont show only messy place, pkease show how beautiful myanmar is.
Not that no bodies know what's happening there, every Myanmar knows what is happening. The Beach areas are not safe to travel, and they may be reluctant to tell you because PDF, AA and military conflict. It is NOT safe and only TH-camr like you would go and hoping to get a strike.
Luke wants to make his visit sound tough getting scared of street dogs. I was in Yangon recently. Instead of requesting the hotel to book the bus tickets he wasted time and money, and is interested in a stadium. Incidentally, the language is Burmese not Myanmar
Our country is developing country. You should come before military coup 2021. Dont go back your country, without visiting Bagan in Myanmar. Bagan is an ancient city and a UNESCO World Heritage. You gonna thanks me later 😅.
I've been to Hpa-an. It's beautiful but I don't think it's safe right now. The war is still very active and most troops will shoot first and ask questions later
@@Wilson-wyp that's good to know. I really liked Hpa-an. We did some hiking and stayed in local villages during the treks. It was a nice experience and the nature was beautiful.
