- Dan the Man is a legendary webseries that was created by Studio Joho and HalfBrick. Dan's legacy consisted of two seasons of episodes and one very popular mobile game, with both getting a sequel respectively.

As someone who watched Dan the Man _after_ watching Bluey, Joe Brumm has great skill with telling meaningful stories using deceptively cartoony visuals in only a few minutes.
Yep I fully agree and it's why I loved Dan the Man's story so much despite it being short.
I loved how the creator went from making a ginger warrior fighting his way through everything that he confronts. To a fucking really good kids show about a family of dogs the glow up is crazy 😂

Sadly he's not eligible, he started as an animated character not as a video game character. But I would not complain if they decided to break that rule for him lol. (Personally though I think if any non-game character should make it into smash, it's Popeye...)

But the king had no idea about this stuff happening. In fact, in stage 9, when he was shown what was happening behind his back, he was heartbroken and started crying. He even tried to stop the advisor from doing anything more.

I loved playing Dan the Man when I was little. I personally loved world 3, especially the battle against the Dark Master. Definitely one of the greatest mobile games out there.

Dark Master took me 6 days until I beat the boss in the coffee shop
Dan the man series can convey such emotion and messages even in its simplistic and cartoony art style. Great video man, can't wait for that obscure game you're going to talk about. Played it before, never thought someone would make a video of it consider how obscure it is.

Dan The Man started off as a short YT series. Evolved into a full badass game with an atmospheric finale. Then was long forgotten. Then it got revived with a season 2 YT series and now they are making Dan The Man 2 which is gonna be much more phenominal in every aspect! I mean, look at how the pixel art became in DTM2! And THAT'S for a mobile game! Studio Joho is one of those companies that actually cares and treats consumers and their games right!

I remember watching the series when I was very young, and revisiting it makes me realize how many jokes they got away with! And how an emotional ride it is, Stage 9 really was something.
The joke that really hits hard for me is when Dan (The Player) straight up rejected Josie "She's just an NPC"
In her mind he just straight up left her for some random girl they met in the woods while they were on their date in her perspective! (Her character growth and becoming sentient was phenomenal!)
Dan aka the Player is just- Typical Dan gotta love how the Player just only cares about beating the game.
Also I like to mention it kinda sucks for Josie when your Boyfriend DIES while trying to get your attention, and running into him again.
My goodness, Looking at the story She's been through so much! Overall, makes her one of the hest written love interests ever!
I think, We already know how DAN THE MAN will end, Cause Dan asked ana a question in Stage 6 about How do I beat the game? And she responds with something similar like "You remember Josie, Yeah, you gotta marry her"
And Dan's response just says it all.

Hold on, If Josie is pregnant- and we Never heard of it ever again that might mean...Oh boy- im gonna come back to this comment if in the finale of Dan The Man possibly Season 3 after Dan Marries Josie she'll tell him she's pregnant.
Yeah that's why I love the series it can get very deep despite the jokes. The best part is that the entire story is told without any voices or dialogue, mostly.
I think they changed it because it was Studio Joho's idea, and when they left Studio Joho had a different idea planned instead. And yeah Season 3 is going to be really interesting, especially since Dan has ventured off the intended path which is probably what caused the glitching in Season 2. I just hope the jokes are still funny and there's a deep meaning to the story like Season 1.
Thumbnail saying "be a good person" yeah no, the season 2 of the series shows Dan intentionally beating NPCs without good reason.
Was he ever painted in any way other than chaotic neutral at his very best? Lolol he constantly does cruel shit and uses lives like do overs when it backfires, he's nowhere near that and only gotten slightly better

Yeah even though Mobile games have a bad rep due to many cheap knockoffs and terrible monetization, there are a ton of gem games out there just hidden deep inside.
