Railfanning Illinois and Wisconsin On The CPKC C&M Sub Ft, Metra, Amtrak HU Duo on 332, and More!

Just like last time in February we head out near Chicago to railfan Metras Milwaukee district north line which goes on the CPKC C&M subdivision. My mom was heading back to Mexico so we dropped her off at the airport. When we left Ohare we decided to stop at Northbrook, IL again while also going to Lake Cook Road which is near Deerfield, IL. We got to see plenty of Metra and Amtrak action there including two Amtrak heritage units Amtrak 161 Phase I and Amtrak 160 Phase III Pepsi Can and the westbound borealis with two Phase VII P42s! We also got to see the relatively new Metro SD70MACHs which came out last year and they have been using them a lot on the MDN so it was nice to see them and its my first time in 2 years catching Metra trains again so its always great to see. We also saw a fair share of CPKC trains like 149, 247, 249, and 246 with a Grey Ghost DPU. I had a great time catching some action around here and it won't be long before I come back here again.
