    1:02 - I have been seriously debating getting an AR-style stock for mine, but I'm far too hesitant to move away from the rifle stock that I really like and am already comfortable with. I think you sum it up pretty well here.

      The way I look at it, when I wanted a 9mm AR, I got one!! This is NOT an AR, nor was it meant to be an AR, I like it as it is now!!

      The Ruger is different and now very modular due to the really cool accessories available out there for it!! Look at this one, the only thing stock is the receiver and Barrel.

    I bought RUGER PC chassis ("tactical") carbine with the pistol grip. since then I've added every M*CARBO part, many MAGPUL components, a TACCOMN machined Delrin flared mag well and a HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight.
    Now it is ready for Steel Challenge competition. (Wish I was too.)

    The brake is installed incorrectly..... correct me if I'm wrong, is it designed to be mounted with the ports to be facing 12 and 6 o'clock????.... it basically increases the recoil by blowing the blast up and down.... on all my rifles that have a brake my ports are facing the 9 and 3 o'clock position to blow the blast to the sides ELIMINATING or REDUCING the recoil.

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, YOU ARE WRONG!! This is a Compensator, NOT a Brake!! There are only TWO Ports and they go up!! Trust me, I have been shooting Compensators since 1994, on pistols and this Comp was designed as an older 1990's Compensator, he now makes a Brake, which I don't like, I prefer this old design MUCH Better. A Compensator was designed to Reduce MUZZLE Flip, to direct gasses UP, so it would Push the firearm DOWN and COMPENSATE!!! Case and point, the 2011 pistol in 9x25 Dillon, it OVER compensated and pushed the muzzle down WAAAAY too much, but it had recoil out the ass.

      Good texturing, high quality polymer, looks, and cheek rest options. But mainly, Magpul is just a great company, and they make extremely dependable products. They're the only company I've seen that can make aftermarket magazines that function better than the factory magazines. I'd trust that Magpul stock to take a beating far more than the standard stock, and I haven't used that stock, but I can only assume they designed it for optimized ergonomics. It just looks comfortable and form fitting, and every Magpul product I've bought has had comfortable and form fitting as a top priority.

    Since the Ruger Pc9 made its debut in the American marketplace, there has been an ongoing issue with the gun's ejection system and the need to replace it after shooting 1000 to 1,500 rounds. Would you kindly address this issue?

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, I got this carbine before it was released on Dec 2017, honestly, this is the first thing I heard about this. The ejector is part of the Magazine block, it's a stamped piece of steel, just like the Glock Ejector. If there was an issue, this is the cheapest part of the whole gun and if this was happening, Ruger just sends you a new Magazine/Ejector Block. But again, this is the first time I heard about this and I have shot much more than 1500 rounds with mine.

    I am so sorry you lost my attention when you mentioned California and the problems that they have. I personally like the traditional rifle stock with the MLOC hand guard. I purchased mine with the American theme graphic. I was considering the change of rear stock but have decided against it. I have removed the spacers from the stock and it makes this weapon very short and easy to move with. Yet still remains a true PCC.
