The major difference is that MaestroDMX work from a real-time audio feed, rather than having to pre-analyze your tracks before hand. MaestroDMX is easier to setup and can run all night hands-off, 'set it and forget it'.
MaestroDMX's algorithms will automatically follow the music no matter what the genre, however you can select different 'moods' or patterns to better fit part of your event.
@@maestrodmx Is it possible to flip between moods using a midi controller? E.g., everything running auto, cycling through different scenes... but say first hour of the night is more chill and second hour medium, third hour peaktime... so hit a button and it switches what scenes it will use.

Is it possible to control projector animations as well?
If the projector has a DMX input specification then you can control it with MaestroDMX.
How is it working with the dj software? like Serato, Traktor, Recordbox
MaestroDMX works with any audio input. Just send your audio from you mixer straight into the box. ie it does not matter which DJ software you use.

If you’re feed music to the Maestro via rca what part of the mix is most effective? Kick drum, guitars, full mix?
