    friendly FYI: The spout doesn’t need to always be open during juicing. You can choose to have it closed or open, it’s your choice.

    I got my juicer last week and absolutely love it!!! I’ve done carrots only once with other things and did cut them a bit smaller. A few other videos suggested to put the pulp through one more time it gets even dryer then.
    Happy juicing!

      @juliel.bateson4971  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gisela, thank you for your comments: Glad you’re enjoying your juicer.
      Oh I do put the pulp through if it’s something that has a lot of water in it but carrots don’t especially with this Nama J2 Juicer you won’t find much water “juice” if any, in the pulp.

    deciding between the kuvings REVO830 and this nama j2,....i juice mainly carrots and spinach...the kuvings cuts the carrots.....what are your thoughts?

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Since I don’t have the Kuvings and have the Nama J2 I would say go with the Nama because its hopper ( it’s about 5”x5” ) holds a lot of fruits and veggies in it and you don’t have to cut them in small pieces. It saves a lot of time and is easy to clean.

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The nama has a blade inside of the hopper that chops up the food before it heads down into the strainer area.

    • @darceyderosa2426
      @darceyderosa2426 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh wow! Once I can afford it, I will buy the J2! This saves time and it’s quiet! Score!

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@darceyderosa2426 Nama has monthly payment options through Affirm. There is 3 different monthly payment options. I can get you a discount code if you want to. please remind me when you are going to buy one. Yes the Nama is quiet and very easy to use. It’s a slow juicer but it seems like it’s quick because you don’t have to chop up everything in tiny pieces.

      The Kuvings come with two additional accessories to make sorbets and smoothies but will cost an extra 150 dollars. Both are excellent choices.

    I rather blend use a Sherwin Williams paint strainer. Or just blended whole Juice High fiber nutritional dense whole juice in my Vita Mix. That's just me. I need all the fiber I can get. Found my happy place 😃. Love my Vita Mix blinder . I was thinking about getting a juicer as well but not necessary just sharing my opinion doing research on this topic

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hello Herman, you do get fiber when juicing. It’s the Insoluble Fiber that’s removed in the pulp. Using a blender is definitely not juicing but if that’s what you are choosing it’s much better than drinking a soda or store bought processed juices.

    Does yours stain a little bit after juicing the carrots? I wash mine right away but I think I can only control it so much. Mine is only stained around the pulp outlet chamber and the bottom of the strainer

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes unfortunately. The area where the juice sits/ stirs in is stained but, that could be my fault.

    Hi do you find the J2 juices carrots really well?

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Jo, Yes it juices carrots very well. It juices everything ( don’t juice sugarcane in this juicer advised by Nama) extremely well. As long as the veggies and fruits are hard and not soft I’ve not had any issues with it. If you have something soft like a pear you’d need to add something hard like a carrot for example.

    • @juliel.bateson4971
      @juliel.bateson4971  ปีที่แล้ว
