The turbo noise motivated the car from the inside releasing its inner "hoon" lolol no lie tho that was a sickkkkkk run right there man great stuff, pat yourself on the back for me dude been watching you since the build and to see that car sliding so well is a testament to all the hard work correcting that car, looking forward to more vids :) keep it up man.
DriftTrain *facepalm* did you watch the video? the part i'm referring to is when he was making the noise with his mouth i.e pretending it had a turbo smh
It's actually really entertaining to watch these videos, and I know that exact feeling where you have no words to say but you're just so over joyed to see what you've accomplished, subbed btw :)
This video gets me so hyped and I'm not even into the drift scene, it's awesome seeing how stoked you are about it. Looking forward to Le Drift Build II !
Man, holy shit. Only just found your channel yesterday and I've watched all your videos, you're killing it and came so far already with drifting. Mad respect all way from Scotland, UK.
Hey man, just wanted to say I've watched all your 'Learning to Drift' vids from Ep1 through to this vid, and the improvements you have made since the first try have been incredible. Your comments/giggling while driving go to show how much fun you were having. Good on you, you look like a natural. Keep it up!
@Evan Nicol You don't have a reply button under your comment so I can't reply. You can change it in your TH-cam settings to allow replies from all. Anyways, I think you should get a 240 for $2000-$3000. From what I hear the engines aren't as reliable with the 300ZX, and they are also heavier cars so for drifting you'll go through tires fast, plus it's just heavy so it'll drive like a heavy car lol. Lmk if you read this
***** dude sick drift vid. making progress man omg. also yea 300zx is going to he a hard car to get sideways but still good tho. and drifting with stock car makes u learn the basics. so it a plus
***** crazy progress! and I totally get your reaction for nailing it, had the same feeling yesterday! my first time drifting on dry tarmac, have only drifted on snow and very wet tarmac before, so dry tarmac is a totally other thing. I filmed it too, definetly see fast progress trough the video and im uploading a part 2 :) sadly my gopro ran out of juice about halfway my session so i did became alot better the last runs! here's a link though if you want to see it :) th-cam.com/video/_j5zfiONiDs/w-d-xo.html just sayin, i drift a 240 too.. VOLVO.. haha xD
Damn!! Just spent a whole day watching every video from the first build vid! Good on you man, let the haters hate.... Who cares as long as your having fun dude... I've enjoyed watching the progression of the car and most importantly you! As your helmet says......... "keep drifting fun"!! Carnt wait for the next episode :-)
Davin Yea I want to head back, but drifting is Thursday nights so because of school I won't be able to go until later in summer. Planning to go though :)
You are killing it man! So cool to see you having fun and barely even being able to talk because your so excited. Drifting really is a rush and that is what it's all about. Going big and testing your driver skills. Im super jelous you get to hit horse theif mile. Up here in Montana we need places to drift bad
Good work man, watching all your vids and watching you improve as you go. Keep it up, Your even inspiring veterans to make them realize why they got into it in the first place. Keep drifting fun.
so throughout the past week, i've been watching your Projeft Le Drift Car series and now just finished your Learning to Drift series. This is what its all about! Doin it for the shear joy and love of the sport! Much respect to you sir!
love how you're beginning to link the drifts together, thinking of starting a channel to do this sort of thing so hopefully i can see what i'm doing wrong and try to improve on it, thanks for the inspiration dude! keep up the good work!
Your progress is incredible man! I just recently picked up a super clean, KA-T s13 coupe and I don't want to learn how to slide in it. It's too nice. Haha you've inspired me to find a missile! I can't stop watching your videos. Keep it up.
Came for the drifting, stayed for he humour! awesome series, hope to get my z32TT sideways too once it's back on the road. Never really drifted either so glad to see your inspiring vids! looking forward to more
Weellllllll now I gotta buy a 240 and find a track here in Texas cause this series is probably the most inspiring shit ive ever seen haha. Keep kicking ass man!
+offbeat garage Thank you for sharing your videos, I've watched them all in the last couple of days, you are an inspirational person! I hope other drift newbs watch your videos and are inspired to enjoy driving and working on their cars the way you do :D I've been drifting off and on since 2006 and I seem to forget what it's all about sometimes... I can take it far too seriously!! You have reminded me of how much FUN drifting can be when you allow yourself to enjoy it without getting caught up in what everyone else thinks you should be doing!! THANK YOU ;) You have collected some great skills in just a handful of events, you are doing a great job, keep it up and always remember to KDF!! :D
Lloyd Powell It has been my joy to make the videos :) I'm just happy to see the reason for making the videos actually be reached by inspiring people to have fun and just go out on the track. I'm not that good at putting things into words, but thank you for all your kind words and Keep Drifting Fun ;)
just stumbled upon this series again (after seeing the first episode a loooong time ago) and watched straight through from ep1, had a huge smile on my face watching how much you improved, keep it up!
I remember watching your learn to drift videos years ago and I was thinking how awesome it was when you started linking those corners together! I was trying find those videos in the present and I couldn’t find them, I tried google and everything, then out of nowhere one of your videos popped up and it looked like you! I found them! Love the video series man!
awesome!!! was waitin for this vid, i could tell in part one you were gettin the hang of it, this vid show real improvement!!! im sooo jealous you get more seat time, but for us up hear in central cali, Madera Speedway has opened its arms up to drifting, so more seat time coming our way soon!!! they are eventually gonna build a drift friendly track, but till then its banks and manjis!!! Congrats man, you are definitely improving!!!
I've been watching your videos since the final of the 240SX and i was really impressed about you building your car and later on drifting it for the first times... I'm so inspired because of what you doing and some other drift builds like the ETS Hilux. But what i really want to say is congrats bro! Keep it real and keep drifting fun! :D
Even though I don't have a drift car but one day I would love to build one you are a big inspiration to keep me motivated in doing just that! Seeing your progress shows beginners that it takes time and with time comes great fun. Thanks for being you and taking your time in doing this!
Wow dude, you're really getting the hang of this and I love your reactions haha ;) I'm hoping to start drifting my self in a few years, hopefully with an S13 or E36 :D
"Yeah come and get som... Wait why am I saying that?!!" and "Why am I fanning myself?!" both had me laughing hysterically!!! Dude awesome work! I am pretty jealous you have all those awesome tracks you can drive on.. Evergreen Speedway in Monroe isn't really the best or the cheapest. Keep it up man, love your videos!
Mike D Hahahah glad you liked those parts :P Yea I'm really fortunate to have all these track near me, hopefully more tracks open up everywhere as the sport grows. Thanks for the comment :)
Hi Mate hope you are well! Just wanted to say I have ally enjoyed your drifting series. It just shows what persistence can achieve 😀. I have though about trying my hand at drifting but I don't know if the drifting scene is as good in the UK as in California. Anyway looking forward to more slaying haha. Tom
Man you inspired me a lot on just working on my 240 and wanting to drift it and practice and get better one day tandem with you.. Sick car and sick drifts
Dude, it's awesome to see you finally get it, and all with a stock NA KA24. I live in australia and have an SR20DE S13 and too often see alot of americans build mental power drift cars THEN go to their first track day. Its good to see some do get it, my stock SR does fine and it will be staying NA, planning on tomei poncams and ITB's down the track but drifting an underpowered car IMO is fun as hell, totally understand your reaction to getting it down finally. This is why people drift! You're doing it right.. also... much envy of you having access to horse thief mile, would be one of the funnest tracks esp to learn with. Keep the vids coming man :)
AquehDzn Yup I agree with you there, one of the main reasons I wanted to make the series was to show people that you don't need big power to drift and how long it will take you before you can start to get the hang of it. Low power is pretty fun too, makes you really work to get the car sideways which is tons of fun. Horse thief is pretty awesome too lol, not to make you more envious :P Glad you like the vids and best of luck with your car :)
really love what you're doing, I live in the UK and next month (September) I'm going to buy my second car which I was going to setup to drift, I will be in the same situation you were in when you first started both building the car then taking it to drift for the first time, I'm really looking forward to it, you helped motivate me as well just knowing everyone had to start some where, keep up the good work.
Wow dude, you've really gotten good! Loved your build videos, these are great too, and I'm looking forward to the new build. Keep it up! You have a fantastic channel.
Damn! Ripping with that ka, youre really on the limit of your cars capability with the stock power your pushing and its rad. Go Kat!! I have an sr s13 Silvia and I can't wait to be as good as my car like you are haha. Keep it up buddy
Honestly that looks like the most fun I've seen anybody have ever! I have a z32 NA that I want to take to the track. Hopefully I'll see u there one day man! Subbed
ghettobird2012 Hahah well I did have a lot of fun :P Hopefully I'll see you at the track. I post when I'm going to the track on my Facebook and Instagram so if you follow those that's your best bet. Thanks for the comment :)
14:20 says it all! Your gaps of joy during the whole video remind me of snowboarding in deep powder.. you struggle to find words and can only mutter gibberish in a loud higher pitched voice than normal. *looksonwebformoarlocaltrackdays
S13Egg 2 new tires lasted the whole day. Put them on in the morning and ran them until lap 51 which was at like 5:10ish p.m. which the event was only supposed to go until 5 p.m. Could have gotten more life out of them too, but I forgot to check tire wear throughout the day, so one tire stills has a good chunk of tread left.
I've watched your learning to drift videos and i loved them :D well I'm too young to drive a car (I'm 15 y/o), I need 3 more years so I can take classes and get my license. Can't wait to have driving lessons with my uncle this summer xD
Calamity FFA Yeah, well it's good for vacation but not to live here.. ^^ i mean i was about to go to zakynthos and then this shit happened and it was canceled. There goes the money we spent for tickets and the hotel, if you watched the news on what's going on here you'll understand :P
Nice video man! Can't wait to get me a 240 or something so I can go throw it around Adams motorsports park like your first drifting video! (I live close by in Moreno Valley)
Im from new zealand, im 12 years old, and i race ministocks on a dirt oval. It is the best felling to slide a car. My car runs a datsun 1200 motor with a ford y body. The cars have giant side rails (for smashing people) but anyway, your vids inspire me to go get a cheap silvia and covert it to a fire breathing drifter with a rb25dett in it. 👍
Wow you've improved some damn well! Well done my friend! Can you perhaps make a video or just explain to me here how should I start working on a car. Like, what should I be doing first. I'm gonna get soon a Citroen Vulcan ZX 2.0l engine. So I'm tryna think what I should do first and what I should look at when I'm trying to improve my car's performance. Thanks alot and keep it up!
Great job bro im loving it ...cant wait to see more amazing videos...i can only imagine what you can do with a little bit more horse power ...maybe a sr20 swap one day ? I will be waiting
Really fun watching you develop as a driver in your videos. Love your attitude and mindset with learning. Also excellent choice in helmet sticker :)
Keep Drifting Fun OMG this made my day seeing you comment here haha. Thanks for the kind words and yes excellent choice indeed ;)
It doesn't have a turbo
DriftTrain *facepalm* did you watch the video? the part i'm referring to is when he was making the noise with his mouth i.e pretending it had a turbo smh
Oh haha lol
*pauses at start of video and makes popcorn*
***** * gets in chair turns light down close windoes and starts vid*
Goes to get a bowl of cereal*
*makes tuna sandwich*
Eats cold pizza
Plot twist: eats pussy instead, lol jk
It's actually really entertaining to watch these videos, and I know that exact feeling where you have no words to say but you're just so over joyed to see what you've accomplished, subbed btw :)
These just get better and better each time. Love it

+SLAM3R Thanks man :)
i like the talk about the feelings before some laps! this is good.
I just can't express how much better you are from your first couple times drifting. Wow, you're on your way man. Good work!
You've gotten so much better since the first learning to drift vid. Keep up the good work man.

you should go back to the first track you went to, the Adams one I think it's called? it'd be cool to see the difference since you've improved a lot
Yeah man that's a good idea^^
Davin Yea I want to head back, but drifting is Thursday nights so because of school I won't be able to go until later in summer. Planning to go though :)

AquehDzn Yup I agree with you there, one of the main reasons I wanted to make the series was to show people that you don't need big power to drift and how long it will take you before you can start to get the hang of it. really love what you're doing, I live in the UK and next month (September) I'm going to buy my second car which I was going to setup to drift, I will be in the same situation you were in when you first started both building the car then taking it to drift for the first time, I'm really looking forward to it, you helped motivate me as well just knowing everyone had to start some where, keep up the good work.

Hello im french and i very like What you do so continue like this !! :)
14:20 says it all! Your gaps of joy during the whole video remind me of snowboarding in deep powder.. you struggle to find words and can only mutter gibberish in a loud higher pitched voice than normal.

Your progression is great from episode 1 to this is good
Damn dude! Watched you from the begging and your doing amazing!!
You have gotten a lot better than expected man good work
so how many tires did you had to change?
S13Egg 2 new tires lasted the whole day.
Put them on in the morning and ran them until lap 51 which was at like 5:10ish p.m. which the event was only supposed to go until 5 p.m. Could have gotten more life out of them too, but I forgot to check tire wear throughout the day, so one tire stills has a good chunk of tread left.
+David Holden , you can google it to find a video. It's under your youtube settings and you have to allow replies from everyone.
that track looks dope. love the videos man.
I think staring with low horsepower is better. Because it FORCES you to learn the techniques of drifting. Then with about 300 hp it is so easy.
One set of tires and 12 pairs of underwear when you noticed you got tandems :P sweet videos man drift love from Australia
it looks great, seems like youre having a blast!
I've watched your learning to drift videos and i loved them :D well I'm too young to drive a car (I'm 15 y/o), I need 3 more years so I can take classes and get my license. Can't wait to have driving lessons with my uncle this summer xD
If you live in America you have one more year buddy, I'm 15 and I get my license next year
Calamity FFA Nope, I live in Europe, Greece although not Greek :P
Woah! Nice man, always wanted to go there!
Calamity FFA Yeah, well it's good for vacation but not to live here.. ^^ i mean i was about to go to zakynthos and then this shit happened and it was canceled. There goes the money we spent for tickets and the hotel, if you watched the news on what's going on here you'll understand :P
dam i wish we had tracks like this where i am you showed huge improvement looked like you dialed in the car just right best of luck for the future
Nice video man! Can't wait to get me a 240 or something so I can go throw it around Adams motorsports park like your first drifting video! (I live close by in Moreno Valley)
your doing a great job i can see potential in you keep going !
Im from new zealand, im 12 years old, and i race ministocks on a dirt oval. It is the best felling to slide a car. My car runs a datsun 1200 motor with a ford y body.
Your getting it bro. Proud of yur progress
Great job bro im loving it ...cant wait to see more amazing videos...i can only imagine what you can do with a little bit more horse power ...maybe a sr20 swap one day ? I will be waiting
