I’d like to see a “blind” test of these common 2-3” suspension leveling systems. It’s so subjective that I think the results could be very interesting. My 6112s ride great to me, but how do they really compare to other options?
And how often do they have to be sent in to be rebuilt? That's the big question .
Awesome. Looks like a great day
Who's running these Elka's? Thinking about upgrading my suspension, but with the supply chain issue, not a lot is available. However, these are available and wouldn't mind running them, but I'd like to hear a review from someone running these.
I run this kit on my 2020 Trail Boss 6.2L I went from the factory ranchos, to the Bilstein 6112 in the front and the 5100 in the rear to this kit and I will say on washboard roads the truck skates and drives well. On the highway it handles like a much smaller and lower vehicle. Really worth the investment.
@@myintegruns12s51 I have a 2018 Silverado and went from the stock Rancho to the Eibach Pro Truck Lift with the front strut set on the highest groove to get 2 1/2 inches of lift. (with stock spring) The Eibach springs were too fat so I had to use the stock springs. The truck is dead level. The only issue I have is ride quality. It's very harsh in the front. But it's much more stable. I am all street but some of the roads in So Cal are in bad shape and make the ride rough. Washboard is bad. Stock was way too soft and mushy, but smooth. I would not go back to stock but there has to be an option for getting 2 1/2" in the front and getting a decent ride too. I think these might be a good option but can't find any testimony other than this video and your comment. Both positive. Also going from the stock 265 P's to 275 LT's on the 18 inch Z71 rims made the ride much more planted.
Great review. I’m getting close now.
What would that truck look like with 315/70/17s
How are those tires are the road? 17 or 18” wheel? Do you remember what the offset on the wheels were? Thanks for the video
Do you have to run the rear blocks??? Or can you just run the coilovers adjust to even the rake out??

How would you compare this to the 6112s with 5160. How are they different and which is better?
Biggest difference is price and design, the 6112's will reuse your stock top hat where the Elka's are completely drop in. The ride quality on road in both cases is comfortable while offroad the Elka's are great for really going all out while if you're running trail roads or just minor offroad driving the 6112's provide the comfort you're looking for.
@@stage3motorsports I have the 6112s and 5160 on my tundra next set up will definitely be ICON, Kings, Or Elkas
@@rikscichlidaddiction25 I went from the 5100's to the ICON's on my Tundra. Do it, you will be amazed. Where as the 5100's would bottom out in the sand dunes, the Icons as he stated in the video make you feel invincible. I also had a 6" lift. but it was such an amazing setup. Don't get kings, too rough on the road.
WhAt wheels and tires do you have on this ? Offset as well ? A full list would be great.
Austin check out the full budget build setup in this link www.stage3motorsports.com/Stage-3s-2018-F150-5-0L-Budget-Build.html
If you just wanted the 0-2" kit for overlanding, how would it compare to the Falcons that you just took off? Are they worth the extra money?
That really depends on how often you go out, if you go out every weekend and for the full weekend, it’s definitely worth it
how does it compare to the Rancho coil over 3" lift or the Bilstein 8112 and 8100 kit? also how much is this Elka kit?
what kind of wheels & tires & size are on that truck ? they look great.
They are

What compression setting did you have the shocks set at (both low speed and high)?
Great lift! Have question for you, what do you guys do with the old kits u take off when putting the new one on. Do resell them or just get rid of them. If u get rid of them I be first to say I would take one for my 2019 f150 xlt. Lol
My 2015 F-150 Platinum Ecoboost 4x4 is stock. Truck kind of bounces around on bumps, uncomfortable, even dangerous! Rear shocks would help, eh? I can’t believe how Ford messed up front making it so hard to just replace front shocks.
Just saw the price. Yikes 😳.
This suspension kit is on the higher cost end but you see what you get for it.
