Iraqveteran8888 what do you consider an early import model for the CZ? If I was to purchase the CZ 75 SP 01 would that be considered early import? Thank you!
Thank you Eric, Would like your opinion as a fellow Georgian, have a CZ75BD with 10 round Mags, slightly used, I can pick up for $399.00. Never have owned a CZ so would appreciate your professional opinion. Thank you
My local gun store has a wide variety. Just got a cz75 clone from SAR for 300 even. It felt amazing in my hands and the sights were awesome. Plus 17rnd mag. Plus everyone has a Glock. I could've afforded one they just bore me
I just got a SD9. Which the only difference is the slide on yours. I hate the trigger. I’m replacing it. You find it to be ok? I’m used to a Glock 17. Just curious on your opinion
@@finestnedmark the SD9 is a gun for see defense hence the “SD”. That’s why the trigger pull sucks so bad. Your not accidentally going to shoot it, when you pull the trigger.. you mean to. I bought my first handgun last week. It was the S&W SD9 VE. I got it with two 16 round mags for $350 after taxes. It feels nice in my hands and I can’t wait to shoot it
Love cz! I have a number of friends that were glock or springfield people, never heard of cz until they shot mine and now they own one and it's their favorite to shoot
I own a 75B and have had nothing but issues with it. Trigger reset springs breaking, firing pin roll pin breaking, etc. I really hope I just have a dud but it killed the CZ for me.
@Hans Stein I would, but at this point I have replaced and fixed so much myself that it would likely void warranty. That is fine though, as it was a carry pistol for the longest time but I am looking into a new carry option anyways and will just keep this as a semi-functional collectors piece more than anything. Still love the history and look of the gun, but I won't likely ever conceal carry a CZ again if only based on my personal experiences with their products. Probably will just buy a G19 or a P228 instead.
I miss you Barry. I can't ever watch a IV8888 video without seeing your ghost in it. Your genuine commentary and personality were on a whole other level.
Love the SD9VE and the SW40GVE! Did some custom work to my GVE and it's nice. The SD9 shoots like a dream used with no work. I used to own a third SW40VE but sold it back for a profit. They are almost as good as Glocks, and just as reliable. I got all of mine used for under $175 (the SW40VE I got for 125.)
Having owned the Glock 17 and 19 for many years now, I have to say I much prefer my 19, and I have huge hands. For some reason, it simply "falls in place" better than my 17, points and feels more natural than my 17. That being said, I still love the 17 and think it is one of the best 9mm pistols ever made.
Hunter Jordan Yes, I have had the P226 in 9mm for over two years and have easily put 3000 rounds through it. It has only failed once, and that was a dud round. It was struck solidly but did not fire. I have to be honest I have a lot of respect in the background of this video that you guys have a bunch a true glow products instead of trying to market with only expensive optics you pander to those of us that can only afford a reasonably priced and good quality affordable red dot!!!! Thank you!!! Now thats a gun store I would go to!!!
Barry, You are sorely missed. You told us your honest opinion about guns. Very rare these days! Most people are being used by the gun companies as a spokesman. I don't know what happened to you. But no one can take your place. RIP Barry. May our Flag wave always above our country. They will never take our guns from us. Amen. Shawn
My list would be: Beretta M9/92 FS, HK USP, SIG P226, CZ 75, Glock 19. 1st runner up: Browning Hi-Power. But I realize the price point on these is higher than the ones in this video.
1) S&W 5906 i f found and available 2) Beretta 92/ Taurus PT92 3) Sig 226 / 229 4)1911 9mm by reputable company such as Colt, S&W , Sig, Springfield, etc 5) Glock 19 My choices 😊
I'm glad they gave the CZ 75 some love. I've shot them all, and the CZ was BY FAR the most comfortable gun to shoot. Very low bore axis, smooth operation and very accurate right of the box.
SRs are indeed good pistols, and they are better and more advanced in terms of hardware than the P95 ever has been, but...hey, people still buy 1911s for $1000+, they should be able to buy a regular DA/SA hammer-fired pistol for $300. Though the new 9E looks to be good.
My first gun was a Ruger P95. Was rated, as you said, the most accurate out of the box polymer framed handgun during its time. I had problems with shooting cheap ammo and it would stove pipe the shell, but other than that, great firearm.
have to agree the cz is one smooth gun. i dont know much about guns in fact i just went shooting for the first time today. but after shooting a 9mm shield, a glock 43 and 19, a Walter pps back to back, then at the end a cz p07. the cz was just so effortless I wasn't expecting it. it's almost like the cadillac.
These days the Canik TP9SFX deserves a place on this list. 20+1 capacity, red dot ready, factory offers suppressor sights, threaded barrel, different slide catches, mag releases, back straps, and recoil spring weights. Great gun, reliable, and extremely accurate.
+krombopulous michael no such thing as god, keep you tube secular!!!!! fuck all religions, especially christianity. wake up, & ditch the fairy tales. if not, don't spread your shit here.
krombopulous michael yes it was, & for every idiot that mentions god or jesus on you tube. i like barry as well, sucks that he died, but the biggest cancer on earth is religion & the brainwashed sheep that buy into all that crap. the worst of the bunch is those psycho creationists from the u.s. who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old. you could've easily just written, "R.I.P. Barry", but no, you had to spread that christian pollution.
jdbankshot first off, I'm a jew. second off the statement "may he rest with the father now" is not specific to one religion, It could be taken well to muslims, Christians, jews, Mormons, you name it. and if you were really a good atheist, you would not mind whatever someone believes, because what they believe makes them happy, just like I'm sure you believe gay people have a right to be married, there is no room for hypocrites, be accepting to all.
+krombopulous michael are you a convert, because your name sure sounds like greek orthodox....but, it doesn't matter, all religion is evil garbage. i'm no hypocrite, & i refuse to accept insanity as normalcy. any human that believes in any higher power is a psycho, but if they believe in silence, it doesn't bother anyone. what bothers me is people announcing their belief in god in a public way. there is no "the father", but if you want to buy into those bullshit fairy tales, keep it your fucking self, especially on you tube. also, if you're really a good jew, you'd take every opportunity to denounce zionism, netanyahu, & the illegal state of israel & it's barbaric military.
Thanks guys! You helped me make my mind up. I have been looking and was seeking different opinions on hadguns. I was thinking the sd9ve was probably right for me and you confirmed it. It's not over priced yet seems to be a quality handgun for a first time buyer.
Taurus Millenium G2 9mm for me. Field strip of a glock, awesome grip, double-stack 12rd bags, just as slim as the shield, better trigger than the Shield imho [have shot both].
+Terry Goheen Oh I know plenty of people probably do. To be specific, I don't like the way they implemented a safety trigger. I prefer the glock style they used on the Taurus and of course on glocks. That hinged trigger thing drove me nuts. But that's just me.
I have the Canik Tristar c-100. It's a clone of the CZ 75 Compact. At about 2/3rds the price of a CZ. I am SO glad someone turned me on to it. I had no idea Turkey made such high quality guns, and you can't beat the price. Some things are interchangeable with the CZ also, like grips, holsters, and magazines. I am an old-timer, hammer fired guy, and want a safety on any auto-loader that does not have a true double action pull, and this Canik has a manual safety that works in all hammer positions. DOwn, half cock, and full cock. The only drawback is no de-cocker, but I can live with that just like I do with my lever guns.
This is beyond ironic, I turn 21 in 3 days and am looking to purchase my first handgun. I've been looking at the SD9VE and Eric says "if you're watching this 3 years from the date this video was made prices might change" and today is exactly 3 years.
SDVE9 is a great first gun. Bought mine for under $300 brand new! Love it! I agree with the trigger kit. It's a little stiff. Otherwise it's a perfect first gun!
John Dominy that's so true... I told my self after buying the M92 pap I was not buying any other guns ever... a glock 29 and xd mod 2 later I'm still saying I'm not buying anything else lol..
+Bryson Wilkinson Been carrying the Springfield XDS .45 every day for a year and a half. I shoot it weekly and it's reliable as hell. Maybe yours was junk. Or perhaps operator error.
Right? The Glocks used to be great for their price but now that that has skyrocketed for some reason, it has no real value to a decent marksman, much less a professional.
Tserain its branding to a certain extent and marketing to people who may only buy a single handgun. On top of this glocks are the most popular handgun for police so I would say that people ask a police officer what do you use and they simply just ask for a glock when they go to the store.
Yeah, that makes sense. It made me laugh though when I saw a glock 21 for sale in a store next to a brand new Beretta M9 for 50 dollars more. Larger caliber, sure but nowhere near as accurate.
I have a Glock 17 & 19 as well as a Beretta 92FS . By far the Beretta 92FS is superior . As far as accuracy , reliability and durability its absolutely superior. I like the Glocks but in my opinion they are overrated and over priced .
I have the Glock 17 only because my hands are large and the Glock is very easy to grip . I did have a problem right off the ejection did not work . Was told to put an ejector spring off a Glock 19 on my Glock 17 . Which I did and I have not had a problem since .
Every gun you named on there besides the shield is about 200 buckss more than a shield, glock, or a standard XD. Ya those guns you named are great but for an average shooter those are out of the price range my friend. And its not a sigma, its the sd9 ve, it's a pretty damn good gun too if you can get yourself used to the trigger
It's cool that you covered these pistols. Seems like most youtubers love to cover 700-900 dollar pistols but to me, a pistol is a sidearm, it's a back up weapon so there's only so much it needs to do. A basic combat pistol just needs to be able to feed and fire, with basic combat range accuracy at 7 yds, and do so repeatedly without breaking. That's the whole reason that Browning Hi-Powers and some other older guns are still just as effective today as when they first came out decades ago. The pistol doesn't make a person a great shooter, it's the shooting skills built over hundreds of hours at the range. A good shooter can take virtually any pistol, no matter how cheap, and outshoot the average person shooting a premium priced pistol any day of the week. Also, people need to know that even if you're going to conceal carry, you don't need the smallest gun in the world. If you want small over everything else, get yourself a Derringer but good luck shooting it at ranges greater than 4 or 5 feet... Even for every day carry, you sacrifice utility by trying to carry the smallest, lightest pistol that's made. Get yourself a pistol that's big enough where you can conceal it fine but you can shoot it just as well as a service sized pistol. If you can't hit the side of a barn with your tiny pistol, you'll be better off carrying a baseball bat everywhere.
I have a Glock 19 and I'm currently holster shopping, because I'm looking for a change. Do you have any recommendations for great concealment holsters?
+Diode73 I have a few Alien Gear Holsters. All very Nice. But i found a Holster company that IMO, makes the nicest Holsters ive ever seen, and thats Stitchdex.com
Claude Herbert That is an interesting opinion. With it's match grade barrel, great ergonomics and its outstanding packaging, you don't hear that often. I am surprised that you have this opinion, as it does not seem to be shared by any major review sites.
John Morrison Yes...all those attributes make it a fine pistol. But it's just "average," along with the M&P, the Rugers; etc. There's nothing about them that qualifies them for "Top 5" status. Be careful not to confuse "quality" with "popularity."
I was wondering if you could find any reviews defending your statement. Every one found appears to put it on par, and some even better, than the Glock.
what, no love for the Springfield XD/XDMs, or the Sig P226? C'mon guys, how can those be excluded while guns like the P95 or SD9 get in? Especially the Sig P226! That is a major oversight to me, I'd gladly take a Sig over a Ruger, they're much better made IMO. Still like the video but feel some very important ones were omitted!
My first 9mm I purchased back in 1990 Ruger P89 DC in stainless still have it and love it. Since then Glock 19, Glock 26 Gen 3, Kahr CW 9. All great hand guns. Seem to have an affinity for Glocks tho, added a Glock 30S in 45 acp. RIP Barry you were one of the best!
H&K P7 psp; spend half your life watching TH-cam , carry and shoot a P7 for one day, a natural extension of your pointer finger. Use your college fund to get one if you have to,;it’ll give you better returns.
The reason glock/ m&p/ xd/ etc will NEVER be chosen by the military is the polymer frame. when your glock magwell flexes out of shape in 100 degree Fahrenheit weather, what would that mean it will do in 120+ degree heat in the desert (you know, where our troops are now) my top 5 9mm list: Sig Sauer P226 (one is on my hip at this very moment) Sig Sauer 228/229/M11-A1 Beretta M9/92FS Browning Hi-power Smith & Wesson 5906 NOTICE: NO POLYMER I'm not saying that poly guns are bad guns, just saying metal guns are better. anyone who wants to argue can refer to the still functional M1911 handguns that where in the shit in WWI and WWII, and also refer to the glock a friend of mine broke the slide rails out of the frame by falling on his hip while carrying IWB.
+Amthony Scott If the country of origin of a weapon where a consideration (i.e. must be American made) the Beretta 92FS would never have been adopted by the military and designated the M9. Beretta manufacturing occurs in italy. reference: www.beretta.com/en-us/world-of-beretta/since-1526/
Nevermind the fact that a good number of polymer frame handguns have proven themselves over the years, maybe you should check your ego you sound like one of those gun snobs that believes guns should only be made of wood and steel
I just bought a SD9VE used for 279.99 in great condition, it also already had TruGlow TFX pro night sights and an upgraded spring/trigger when I bought it so the previous owner upgraded it nicely. I got lucky with this purchase, I've put 400 rounds through it with various grains from 115 to 147 grain and haven't had any malfunctions, even put a flashlight on the picatinny rail and I love this handgun.
05 mustang gt Sooooo many nicer pistols out there. Especially for the price. My dad's Block 19 won't run a whole mag without a malfunction, so don't hold your breath. lol

I miss Barry. He's the reason I started watching this channel but I like Eric and Chad too.
I miss Barry . Its not the same with two guys in the same age range.
What happened to Mr. Barry. I been out at sea.
@@TheTV4me2 im gonna assume he passed away
TheTV4me2 Heart attack. I think ep 85 is the one breaking the news
Look at them stocked shelves!
Barry, You are sorely missed. You told us your honest opinion about guns. Very rare these days! Most people are being used by the gun companies as a spokesman. I don't know what happened to you. But no one can take your place. RIP Barry. May our Flag wave always above our country. They will never take our guns from us. Amen. Shawn
Im 99% sure he died of a heart attack, just getting older it happens. RIP to a legend.
My list would be: Beretta M9/92 FS, HK USP, SIG P226, CZ 75, Glock 19. 1st runner up: Browning Hi-Power. But I realize the price point on these is higher than the ones in this video.
That's a great list. I'd personally add the P08 luger, but that's just because they're like absolutely nothing else.
Thank you.
P226 VERY NICE
1) S&W 5906 i f found and available
2) Beretta 92/ Taurus PT92
3) Sig 226 / 229
4)1911 9mm by reputable company such as Colt, S&W , Sig, Springfield, etc
5) Glock 19
My choices 😊
Saw Barry as I was scrolling and decided I had to watch this again! National treasure
I'm glad they gave the CZ 75 some love. I've shot them all, and the CZ was BY FAR the most comfortable gun to shoot. Very low bore axis, smooth operation and very accurate right of the box.
Agree 110% the issue is that many folks want polymer today...and many are brain washed by Glock...XD...MnP ...
Since it’s already 2019, what’s your new top 5 9mm to own?
You only need one. S&W M2 0
43x as of now
M9A3 all day
Cz75
SIG P365 and H&K USP.
Watching this in December of 21 and wow it’s amazing how much has changed in 8 years
happy to see the cz(variant). I love my cz 75 probably the best 9mm I own.
RIP Barry, you truly were a font of wisdom for many beginning gun owners.
Is Barry the older gentlemen in the video? I don’t know their names
@@outdoorsanimalsandmusic3014 yes.
@@dagoblin994 ah ok. That sucks
I really wish Ruger hadn't discontinued the P95 :/
Even against the more modern SR series, the P95 was the perfect budget semi-auto pistol.
I hear ya but those sr's are great. I'm going to be getting a sr9 soon after research and so on.
SRs are indeed good pistols, and they are better and more advanced in terms of hardware than the P95 ever has been, but...hey, people still buy 1911s for $1000+, they should be able to buy a regular DA/SA hammer-fired pistol for $300. Though the new 9E looks to be good.
oh i agree
There's plenty for sale on Gunbroker. Go getcha one,
I like that site
My first gun was a Ruger P95. Was rated, as you said, the most accurate out of the box polymer framed handgun during its time. I had problems with shooting cheap ammo and it would stove pipe the shell, but other than that, great firearm.
have to agree the cz is one smooth gun. i dont know much about guns in fact i just went shooting for the first time today. but after shooting a 9mm shield, a glock 43 and 19, a Walter pps back to back, then at the end a cz p07. the cz was just so effortless I wasn't expecting it. it's almost like the cadillac.
"If you see the video 3 yeas from when it was made" Darn.
fuck yes ! from canada!
Lol, Hey still holds true though. Actually the SD9ve is $200 cheaper than the gen 4 glock 19
Gen 4 blocks are barely getting introduced so prices are like __----^^^^^^^^^
lol still here
Same! Haha
Smith and Wesson shields r pretty good guns
These days the Canik TP9SFX deserves a place on this list. 20+1 capacity, red dot ready, factory offers suppressor sights, threaded barrel, different slide catches, mag releases, back straps, and recoil spring weights. Great gun, reliable, and extremely accurate.
God bless barry may he rest with the father now
+krombopulous michael no such thing as god, keep you tube secular!!!!! fuck all religions, especially christianity. wake up, & ditch the fairy tales. if not, don't spread your shit here.
jdbankshot that comment wasn't about me was it?
krombopulous michael yes it was, & for every idiot that mentions god or jesus on you tube. i like barry as well, sucks that he died, but the biggest cancer on earth is religion & the brainwashed sheep that buy into all that crap. the worst of the bunch is those psycho creationists from the u.s. who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old. you could've easily just written, "R.I.P.
My personal favourite is the Beretta 92FS (M9 as known by americans I believe)
Joel Salminen , M9 and 92FS are almost identicle but different
Yes sir it is
You know its 2020 now and i still come back and watch these old video just cause i miss seeing barry
Rip barry
Thanks guys! You helped me make my mind up. I have been looking and was seeking different opinions on hadguns. I was thinking the sd9ve was probably right for me and you confirmed it.
It's not over priced yet seems to be a quality handgun for a first time buyer.
Taurus Millenium G2 9mm for me. Field strip of a glock, awesome grip, double-stack 12rd bags, just as slim as the shield, better trigger than the Shield imho [have shot both].
Oh, and crap tons cheaper. Got mine for $260 - $50 MIR - $35 Free NRA Year Membership = $175 end cost for me.
+Josh B the G2 is great gun but i disagree about the trigger
they are cheap but not sure about that mexico gun quality
+Viet Nguyen Not made in Mexico :D. Now a days a large portion are made in Florida. Some production still occurs in Brazil though.
+Terry Goheen Oh I know plenty of people probably do. To be specific, I don't like the way they implemented a safety trigger. I prefer the glock style they used on the Taurus and of course on glocks. That hinged trigger thing drove me nuts. But that's just me.
Man, I really miss Barry... He was just too damn cool for school! :)
I know this video is three years old but I used the info to buy the S & W 9mm Shield. Thanks Eric. You too Barry in Heaven.
+John Chetcuti me too. little thing is flippin awesome!
I sure wish I could get Barry’s reaction to these new high capacity micros like the p365 and hellcat.
Yes, I wish Barry was around. He was a fountain of very good information. Rest in peace my friend.
My dad got me the SD9VE for my 21st birthday last year.
I fucking love it.
+bestest87 your commie ass would get a 9mm.
Any problems with it since day 1?
Juan Roman Nope!
I did put a steel guide rod in it with a stock weight spring. It helps a bit with recoil, which wasn't much to start with.
+bestest87 where did you get the steel spring?
George Bautista Amazon haha. Look for the one from Galloway Precision.
This is beyond ironic, I turn 21 in 3 days and am looking to purchase my first handgun. I've been looking at the SD9VE and Eric says "if you're watching this 3 years from the date this video was made prices might change" and today is exactly 3 years.
Devonn Peters I'm watching it as well and I'm in market for CZ75
i bought one on blk friday!
I looked at the date when he said that too lol
Devonn Peters crazy ain't it RIP Barry
SDVE9 is a great first gun. Bought mine for under $300 brand new! Love it! I agree with the trigger kit. It's a little stiff. Otherwise it's a perfect first gun!
Whoa! I stumbled on this video and was like, 'Holy crap that's Iraqveteran8888!!'. Still loving your content all these years later.
SD9ve is a great reliable gun. One of my favorite firearms.

I'm surprised the Springfield XDM 9MM wasn't up there. Damn good gun and for a decent price too.
xdm and xd line in general is junk that's why
+Bryson Wilkinson
Been carrying the Springfield XDS .45 every day for a year and a half. I shoot it weekly and it's reliable as hell.

Just got the xds 9mm bitone 3 days ago. Beautiful design. Easy to cc.
Bryson Wilkinson Haha okay
I stick with my Beretta 92FS. was my service pistol and i know how to operate maintain and fire the weapon. Meh...
Same here, honestly the main reason I bought the m9, just used to the sights
I got the PT92 AFS beretta clone. I love it and it should definetly be up there and not the pos glocks
CZ75 is THE wonder 9 in my opinion.
CZ75A? Lmao
+XPWNZERX huh?

Jake Johannesen Auto variant
especially the newer cz-75 shadow

When I am off, and the weather is bad outside I like to watch the older IV8888 vids with Barry. Miss his humor and insight
I'm a revolver kind of guy. Yes, I enjoy the simple things....
Why spend 400 on a revolver when you can get a used glock for that price?
I spent $900 on my last revolver. Doubt I'll ever buy a Glock, $400 is still overpriced for a new one.
@@Mortismors not everyone is rich like you.
@@coleguitar2233 that, and for me it comes down to, you would need to reload a revolver twice to have the capacity of a 17+1 sd9ve for example.

FNP, P226, PPQ/P99, XDm, SP-01, USP, M&P etc. and you pick a "Sigma" =)???
I like your rig better than the video, agreed with you
Every gun you named on there besides the shield is about 200 buckss more than a shield, glock, or a standard XD. Ya those guns you named are great but for an average shooter those are out of the price range my friend. And its not a sigma, its the sd9 ve, it's a pretty damn good gun too if you can get yourself used to the trigger
booger bubba still you have the sr9, m&p 9, fnh, xdm and are all 50-100$ cheaper and are truelly ambi unlike the glock. or any of those guns it seems.
booger bubba Or if you don't like the trigger, get the spring kit for it and fut it in yourself.
No M9 Beretta, P229 Sig Sauer or XD9?
Berretta is illegal to buy
No it isnt't, where'd you get that info from?
Why. ;_;
i don't know, i was kinda disappointed
people don't like xd because of the back safety which is stupid if you like 1911s
Well I'm very happy with my glock 19 & 17
I have a Glock 19 and I'm currently holster shopping, because I'm looking for a change. Do you have any recommendations for great concealment holsters?
My favorite IWB holster is the Alien Gear. It is very comfortable and places the gun in a good place relative to my personal ...um...shape.
Diode73 can you tell me the price range and where I can find one?
+Diode73 I have a few Alien Gear Holsters. All very Nice. But i found a Holster company that IMO, makes the nicest Holsters ive ever seen, and thats Stitchdex.com
NePdXploit thanks.

Suh-leeeeeek!!
I feel like this was more of a "5 budget minded 9mm handguns Everyone should own..."
+johnnylancenese Its maybe because 2500$ gun doesn't work any better than 500$ glock ... (I'm not Glock fan )
+MrVolodus Well, when you show "the poor man's glock" well... that is budget right there.
+Kyle Friedman The police normally choose Glock or the S&W M&P. I would pick one of those
+Robert Paulson I have both, and you cannot go wrong with either.
Totally agree, johnny
Just bought the the SD9 with the black slide tridium sights. 379.00 academy sports. Looking forward to shooting it.
Out of curiosity, was there a reason you did not include the XD series pistols?
Thats my curiosity to. Especially since they did a video on Nov 19, 2013 and with an older XD and said how great it is.
Probably 'cause the XD is a mediocre pistol, at best.
Watching 10 years later😂
My first 9mm I purchased back in 1990 Ruger P89 DC in stainless still have it and love it. Since then Glock 19, Glock 26 Gen 3, Kahr CW 9. All great hand guns. Seem to have an affinity for Glocks tho, added a Glock 30S in 45 acp. RIP Barry you were one of the best!
Not in any specific order.

I am big on the H&K offerings, perhaps a video on top 5 9mms over $750?
H&K P7 psp; spend half your life watching TH-cam , carry and shoot a P7 for one day, a natural extension of your pointer finger. Use your college fund to get one if you have to,;it’ll give you better returns.
The reason glock/ m&p/ xd/ etc will NEVER be chosen by the military is the polymer frame. when your glock magwell flexes out of shape in 100 degree Fahrenheit weather, what would that mean it will do in 120+ degree heat in the desert (you know, where our troops are now)
my top 5 9mm list:
Sig Sauer P226 (one is on my hip at this very moment)
Sig Sauer 228/229/M11-A1
Beretta M9/92FS
Browning Hi-power
Smith & Wesson 5906
NOTICE: NO POLYMER
I'm not saying that poly guns are bad guns, just saying metal guns are better. anyone who wants to argue can refer to the still functional M1911 handguns that where in the shit in WWI and WWII, and also refer to the glock a friend of mine broke the slide rails out of the frame by falling on his hip while carrying IWB.
+BigRed30378 I realize extensive experience in this list.
+BigRed30378 they also wouldn't use glock because they are not American made
+Amthony Scott If the country of origin of a weapon where a consideration (i.e. must be American made) the Beretta 92FS would never have been adopted by the military and designated the M9. Beretta manufacturing occurs in italy. reference: www.beretta.com/en-us/world-of-beretta/since-1526/
Have you seen fpsrussias video? He cooks on in a wood furnace and it still worked
Nevermind the fact that a good number of polymer frame handguns have proven themselves over the years, maybe you should check your ego you sound like one of those gun snobs that believes guns should only be made of wood and steel
Good list. I have the shield, the SD9VE, and the Ruger p95
Do you like that SD9VE? Is it worth it?
Nice guns guys but you forgot one the best, Beretta 92 fs or the m1.,... just my input or the fnp or fns, fnx.

I've had one for a while and the trigger is a smidgen heavy but it is utterly reliable and it replaced my glock 17 for a carry
