  • NEW HAWK 250 description
So here we are, reviving my hawk, bringing it back from the dead. It was ridden over 8,000 miles, rode hard and put away wet before being parked and forgotten about for 7 moths. Now new life is being breathed back into the hawk 250, it needed so much work, I decided to buy another hawk 250 for parts! (Don’t worry the parts bike was too rough to put back together) The parts bike only has 500mi on it so it’s like new and has all of the parts we need to bring the Hawk back to life!! And so, the hawk 250 adventures continue!
CURRENT HOURS and MILES at the time of the video FILMING.
Miles: 7,854 (these are not miles, but units, the hawk odometer reads in neither miles nor kilometers, I call them miles in the videos for simplicity sake)
    Hours: 287.5

I really want my Hawk to last as long as possible. I appreciate how you've documented literally everything about your bike, and the work that needs done on it. I'm gonna start taking mine to work and need it to be reliable enough for a 30 mile round trip.
Stuff Done: rotella oil, front brake fluid change (still need to change the rear), ngk plug, tightened spokes, trued the wheel (as best as possible w/o stand), chain and sprockets. psi check freq.
Anything else I need to look out for? Im afraid of getting standed especially if im going into work. Ive had a couple flat tires due to spokes breaking/being loose. Thanks again for the vids!
