Join me on an exhilarating journey from the vibrant city of Karachi to the breathtaking heights of Khunjerab Pass! 🛫
📍 Day 1: Karachi to Islamabad
We kick-started our adventure with a flight from the coastal city of Karachi to the heart of Pakistan, Islamabad. After landing, we set out for the picturesque Abbottabad, where we spent a captivating night surrounded by the serene beauty of the region.
🌲 Day 2: Abbottabad to Chilas via KKH Dasu and Diamir
Embarking on the famous Karakoram Highway, we traversed through Dasu and Diamir areas, reveling in the stunning landscapes that unfolded before us. A night's stay in Chilas prepared us for the breathtaking wonders that lay ahead.
🏔️ Day 3: Chilas to Hunza - Raikot Bridge, 3 Mountains Junction, Continental Plates Colliding Point, Nanga Parbat View Point, Rakaposhi View Point
Our journey continued through the majestic landscapes, with stops at the iconic Nanga Parbat View Point and Rakaposhi View Point, offering unparalleled panoramas of these towering peaks. We marveled at Raikot Bridge, the mesmerizing junction of three mountains, and the point where continental plates collide. As the sun dipped below the peaks, we reached the enchanting Hunza Valley, where the temperature plummeted to -3 degrees Celsius.
❄️ Day 4: Exploring Hunza - Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, Sust City, Yak Grill Burger
We embraced the chilly morning in Hunza and explored its wonders, including the vibrant Attabad Lake and the iconic Passu Cones. A pitstop in Sust City led us to the famous Yak Grill Burger, where we relished their renowned burger and chicken corn soup. The day concluded with a cozy overnight stay in Karimabad.
🏞️ Day 5: Karimabad - Sacred Rocks and Bltit Fort
Venturing deeper into the cultural and historical richness of Hunza, we visited the sacred rocks and the ancient Bltit Fort. The intricate history and awe-inspiring architecture added another layer to our unforgettable journey.
