Yesss, "For Us" is actually my favorite song on the album. I love them all, but that's the one I replay the most.
Taehyung is a great actor that's why I believe he's good at hiding his emotions like nobody can tell he's shy or nervous until he himself shows us
I think you are mis-reading some of the captions. Tae did not write for his Layover EP. He said he wrote some parts of songs and melodies in the past 2-3 years but threw them out. He was stressed so decided to receive songs instead and contributed vocally, visually and artistically.💜
Tae is known as idol of idols bcs so many idols looks up to him and they watch his performances to learn the expressions
Just a heads up... V had written songs but was not happy with them, so he will release them later. He took those songs off his album.
Because he was running out of time to release an album before military, he decided to accept 5 songs given to him by others that he felt told a story.
He then took those songs and gave them the colour and flavour of V... he then visualised and conceptualised the music videos for each song to tell that story. He is brilliant at visualising music. The album is designed to be listened to in order.
He had worked for 2-3 years on his own songs, but will not release them till satisfied.... This is why he called the album Layover - ie airport layover... he hasn't gotten to the final destination of releasing an album of his own songs yet, this is the "stop" or Layover before that.
I'm not trying to put shade in any way on you guys, i just want you to have accurate info... the way the subs go so fast at times i think you may have missed when Suga had said how the songs originally by V were taken off the album. @ 7:14
V has recently officially released his own songs Scenery, Winter Bear and Snow Flower ... but these were separate from the album.

Woo hoo! V is pretty talented in a lot of ways. One of my favorite BTS songs is his and RM’s 4 o’clock. He also brought us Blue and Grey which has amazing lyrics and Winter Bear where he sings us to sleep. Great now I want potato chips.
V did not write any songs lyrics and also melodies in this album.
He's been working on his own songs but this time he dropped all of them and let Prd. Min took all charge about songs, directions, concepts.
He mentioned several times on another platforms as well and you can check the credits the album.
1230% is based on his birthdate... 30 December.
You will see the editing on BTS will have things like that, eg... 613% =debut date 13 June & 901% = JKs birthday 1st September

I laugh at the Chapter 2 lie. Taehyung is insisting chapter 2 isn't about BTS members not wearing shirts. But ARMY's have receipts. Before chapter 2, if they took their shirt off, there would be an edit covering them. They rarely if ever showed their chest or back. Since chapter 2, all of them, except maybe HOBI, have had their shirts off, and ARMY's have collages and picture collections of these instances. It's a lot. It's all in good fun. 😉 Tae likes play with ARMY's by teasing them.

I'm rewatching this episode with you, guys, and it shows how much of a deep thinker V is despite the goofy personality we see often. To reach a point when he thought that he should get hurt (or hurt himself) just to be able to rest reveals the level of personal despair he was in while showing incredible performances publicly. So glad he got past that period! BTW, our precious V just took #1 for the 100 Global Music Artists of 2024 and his LAYOVER album just won the Favorite Debut Album of 2023 for the iHeart Music Awards. So proud of V!
It hurt my heart to hear our Taetae considered self harm just to rest. I can see why him and JK got those emails from Suga. JK shut down as well during this time in 2018. He stopped talking to the guys and the group was worried about them both. 💜💜💜💜

Great Reaction! I love the whole album and my favorite song is "For US" also. TaeTae is very intelligent, but he is an overthinker and planner. When he is trying something new he analyzes and studies it first just like he learned about how to take care of Yeontan for 6 months before adopting him. I am also that way and for the most part it allows me to find solution to problems, plan things out and etc., but if you analyze or dwell on something too much it causes you to overthink and introduce doubt and fear.
What I love about TaeTae is he is so honest and sincere with everything he does. TaeTae is an excellent singer, but the group was made up of Tenors and Rappers and he was the only baritone singer who overtime develped a wide range. In all the BTS songs he had to adapt and sing out of his comfort zone although he mastered it. I think his songs like Singularity, Stigma, Snow Flower and other solo songs of his really showcased his soulful, deep and velvety voice. ARMY always talk about TaeTae's duality and like Suga, I also saw Kim Taehyung character in the Layover Album verses seeing BTS V.
It was the best spent 1 hour of my late night just watching your reaction. I can see why your channel is growing. Pa’ delante.
