I think It was right to not go in master mode. Calamity is meant to be played in expert mode, so the devs made master mode super unfair and unfun. I think anyone who thinks that calamity should be played in master mode either loves pain, hates fun, or has never played master mode before. Also FISH

Your calamity mod is way more different from mine I wonder if your playing the latest or older version of calamity cause mine is way harder then yours the desert scourge needed 20+ trys to beat I got lucky when ai finally acted dumb and missed me
It's one of my favorites. Lot of cool weapons, healing accessories are fun and the armor sets are neat! Being able to choose between stealth strikes or spam also adds just the right amount of flavor that I like.
also I'd recommend not using the AlchemistNPC spesific buffs, as there practically jsut cheating in an extra accessory that calamity is not balanced around, and so the experiance with them is not actually calamity.

I did the master mode skeletron prime, I thought fighting 2 skeletron heads was alright but fighting both as well as the other 2 mechs made it brutal

Is rogue actually worth playing in calamity? Because from what ive tried it feels weird and underwhelming...
