- It's SATURDAY SEWCIAL time for myself and some fellow Moda designers as we share our past Moda Blockheads quilts with you.

I'm showing my Moda Blockheads 2, 3, 4 quilts along with my Sampler Spree quilt using Susan Ache's book of patterns, a Moda Stitch Pink quilt honoring Breast Cancer Awareness and my 2 quilts done through the Fat Quarter Shop's Sewcialites Sew Along. I've used primarily my fabric collections and my Thatched basics for the quilts.

Wow, your passion for colour certainly radiates through out your quilts. Love your layouts, colours and my goodness 3” blocks. I did Moda breast cancer quilt and the kinship 100 days/ 100 blocks as well. I tend to be drawn to sampler quilts, and seeing your versions have given me ideas for colour and placement. WOW I am just blown away by your take on the BHs. So amazing! Your ideas and work are exceptional 💖 I am literally speechless. Thank you so much for sharing. I did hear about you first in BH2, which was the only one I had participated so far and have yet to finish. I saw your color examples for the first block in BH5 round 2. Thought they are so cool. Thank you for doing those for us. They truly help to get ideas and opens one’s mind to the endless array of possibilities.

Thanks Elaine! Each week as I did GRAY blocks, it seemed a little underwhelming but I actually really like the end result with the pops of color. And I like having some mini quilts to fill in random spaces.
