💜 ABOUT ME:
Hi and welcome! I'm Tanya and the only thing I like more than learning languages is probably talking about learning languages (well, that and hoarding language books).
My native language is Russian and I'm currently in different stages of learning English, Spanish, Polish, Italian, Korean, and Japanese.

Such a comprehensive review
I am not even studying Japanese but I watch all your videos because they’re super cool and cozy and I can always find some useful tips for my target languages. Thanks a lot for everything you do
As a Japanese, I’m so surprised that so many people are studying our language!!! (I know it’s so difficult to learn and to be able to speak, even as a native speaker)
And thanks Tanya for sharing such an amazing video! I would really like to watch your other videos to know the tips of language studies💕
Would yuh like to accept my friend requests ❤ im from nepal ,now im starting learn Japanese language its so difficult
Can yuh suggest me a good app ,
japanese language is very fascinating
english is my second language and grammatically very similar to my first (russian), but still i think a bit different knowing english!
i wanna try to think in japanese because i can gain a new perspective just by knowing a language thats very different from mine. also learning languages is hard but very satisfying!
I am from Togo (west of Africa) and I finally started learning Japanese during the pandemic after years of watching anime and playing Final Fantasy games. The pronunciation is of Japanese "easy" to me because I already speak French so all the sounds are known to my brain except for らりるれろ. I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture and language. I hope to visit sometime next year 🤗
Is it? I think translating to english is what makes it difficult
I think it's true for a lot of languages that even native speakers can have some problem with their own language. and I think it's good to know about it and don't expect too much from yourself. because unrealistic expectations can ruin it your motivation and discouraged you a lot. so thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words about my resources! It means a lot to know people are finding them to be helpful.
Thank you for creating them and for making them accessible to everyone!
Thanks Tanya for your lovely review of the app. We hope you have a joyful experience learning with MochiMochi. May your TH-cam channel achieve more success with the values that you have been bringing to the audience. 😊
lovely app, thanks
I love Irodori!! As someone who isn't living in Japan (or planning to), I don't find all of the topics 100% relevant to me, but it's still an incredibly rich resource, and I personally prefer it to Genki in both visual design and content structure. That plus the online practice exercises are great for self-studying. It's definitely one of the best free resources I've seen, and I feel like I never see anyone talking about it. It'd be nice if they expanded to more than just beginner levels.
can't underestimate mochi in expanding vocab and kanji. I used to learn about 1,000 words via that app. It actually helps me a lot in retaining the learned words in my long-term memory.
Wow, thank you for all the graded reading resources!
Thank you for all the useful resources! I feel like many videos just repeat the most common ones but i didnt even know one in this video 😊
Wow! Such a plethera of free resources! Thank you for sharing in such detail.
I'm going on a trip to Japan next year and want to pick up the basics to get by. This is super useful, thanks!
I really appreciate any tools that you recommend in video. Thank you 🥰
thank you for the high-quality resources
Great resources linked in the video, the content really lives up to the title of the video. Going to be checking out a lot of the resources you've linked. Thanks for the video!
Really amazing suggestions for graded readers!
Always love your sharing Tanya, its so detailed and practical
Thank you so much for sharing all the resources! I truly appreciate it
You're such a life saver for this, I hope everything goes your way and luck is always on your side
The Golden Time feature in MochiMochi is brilliant! It ensures we focus on what we need to review most.
Your personal experience with MochiMochi is a testament to its effectiveness. I'm sold!
Is it just me? But I feel like I just discovered a treasure trove of useful Japanese study resources. Thank you! 🙌 💕❤
Thanks for the amazing video❤
always level up motivation when watching your video. Thanks a lot Tanya
Heeyyy thank you for the links to the graded readers! It’s not easy finding reading materials for beginners with limited vocabulary 🥺
This is the best video about Japanese resources I would say. I was looking for books which for level 0 learners. But couldn’t find any. But thanks to your video I found it. Thank you, Tanya.
I found your channel recently and I gotta say, I used to do Japanese but that was a very long time ago and I didn't know what I was doing so I quit
I plan on returning to it someday once I'm up to speed on my other languages, so when that happens I'll definetly use these and the resources I already own, I'm currently studying Chinese so Kanji won't be as big of an issue but for everything else that seems really helpful. Now if I could find my old copy of Minna no Nihongo...
I used to try many methods to study japanese and I found spaced repetition works for me the best. Thanks to you, I know Mochi app was created based on this technique🤩. And tadaa, I downloaded this app ^^
It's like having an older sister who guides me so that it's easier for me to learn, thanks a lot Tanya!
Thanks a lot for sharing! Great content as always!
My pleasure!
i've been only using duolingo to train kanji and kana since everything is on the same app and it works fine, but the mochimochi course list is so good! didnt know about this app before so thank you
this was soooooo helpful thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so so much, such a great video!!
Your videos are inspiring, I love watching them
Happy to hear that!
so far your channel is my favorite in terms of learning languages , Thank you❤❤
thank you 💜
Ah, yes! The video I've been waiting for!
Mnemonics are such a fun way to remember words. Your fish joke for さかな cracked me up! 🐟😂
Woah thats some great resources! Arigatou
I don't study Japanese yet, but I still watched this video because adore your voice, it's so relaxing 😊. I'm studying English listening your videos, I can also find interesting tips. Thanks a lot.
Such informative and useful materials
MochiMochi is pretty handy when it comes to vocabulary, always have it on my phone
Love your voice and your sharings much. All helps me a lot in learning japanese ^^
Highly recommend Mochi Mochi Learn Kanji too, it helped me a lot in memorizing Kanji!!
Thank you so so much for this amazing video!! I just started learning Japanese and was struggling to find grader readers - thank you thank you!
Happy to be of help!
Pretty nice vid! I like the aesthetic too!
ur handwring at robokana app was amaizing
I learned a lot from your videos, really
I love the yomichan extension for chrome. You download whatever dictionaries (depending on your native language some may be available in said language), if you have multiple dictionaries set the priority, then when you are browsing a page with Japanese text, hover over and press whatever key you set (default shift but you can change that) and it has a popup with suggested dictionary entries for your word and you can listen, integrate with anki etc
Hightly recommend The Bite size podcast too!
Tysm for this! ❤
It is so so helpful for me, arigatou❤
Thank you very much sister❤❤
A big thank youuuuuu here❤❤
Thank you so much!
Irodori is really good! I've taken they're A1 and A2 courses. 😊 but I could notice I wasn't fully memorizing the content, so I begun MARUGOTO course, and it's much more complete, it has more exercises for example. It's free too, and has courses from begginner to advanced.
IRODORI REPRESENTATION!!! I did A1 and its so good, I loved learning with it! and the colours!!!
I feel like finishing Irodori gives someone a good stepping stone / foot into the entrance of Japanese.
I appreciate how you've broken down the science-based study tips. It makes the learning process seem much more manageable.
Arigatou Tanya, will try the app
Hope you like it!
I think my comment got deleted because it came across as spam, but I just wanted to share info about a Japanese learning app that a lot of people don’t seem to know about. Renshuu has helped me quite a bit, and maybe it can help others, especially since many of its features aren’t behind a paywall.
It’s been hard for me to stay motivated for the past year, and your videos are helping me to be kinder to myself about it. They’re also getting me to try different ways of of approaching language study. So thank you for making such honest videos on this subject.
Thank you!
Thank YOU 💜
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
As a Brazilian, I'm thinking about learning German, improving more my french and also speaking Japanese. Thanks for sharing mochimochi, i found it really interesting ❤
It’s been 6 months.Hast du angefangen deutsch zu lernen?:)
Idk why I'm about to cry I've been looking for those
Very helpful
Thank you very much for this information! I put the link to Irodory and the Specified Skilled Worker program on
one of the Ukrainian forums.

Hey there! Thank you so much for this video. I just discovered so many useful resources from you. I was wondering what Kanji practice workbook that you're using? Thank you!
I love MochiMochi! I just hate subscriptions, I wish I could just buy once
Wish I'd known these materials earlier!
ありがとうございます!I have been looking for free graded reader websites
good luck with you language journey!
Thank you! 💜
Love it! Could you do one for Korean too? And Italian (if you haven’t already)
I do have one for Italian and I’m planning to make a Korean one sometime in the future 💜
Hey Tanya, I love your videos!
I'm looking for study buddy for staying motivated and being friends!
Если вы русскоговорящий то так даже забавнее.
After your video I was looking for a digital version of Graded Readers for my pad and yea while it is possible to get it digitally it is not so convenient as the pdf-like format requires a license, a special app, an address in Japan and a credit card, but after setting all the stuff up I was able to get the Graded Readers books you've shown digitally without waiting and also less pricey as I've paid for the Lvl. 0 Sakura 桜 you've shown at 0:51 ¥580 which is about 4$ to get a first taste on it without paying a premium in advance in case I don't like - so overall for all 6 Lvl. 0 vol.1 books it'd be 24$ and instant access over 31$ on Amazon with waiting time :P
RoboKana is absolutely amazing for Kanji
i'm using MochiMochi
Today is the first day of the last month of this year, i am watching this video, and, hopeful that 1/12/2024 i can have N4, as a medical student.❤❤ 🎉
ohh this video was what i'm looking for! i already know hiragana, katakana. but i don't know how to actually start to learn Japanese. i went through tons of resources but they just didn't work for me :'). now i'm starting over and collectig resources from 0. and all of these seems very helpful! i like to read when i'm learning a language so i'm sooo glad that you mentioned readers. i also downloaded mochi mochi, i hope i won't give up this time. thank you Tanya for helping us out!!
Best of luck!
hihi, same to you ^^
Downloaded the app too & I love its cute interface so muchhh ^^
this app really helps me out
i also use the app too ~
Thank you for all the recommendations. There were actually quite a few websites I didn't know yet ☺️

Hello ❤ can you do a similar video for Chinese learning?
Hi! I have zero experience with it, so I don’t really have anything to recommend 🙃
@@tbenavente no problem! Although thanks for all the effort you make to help others with their journey of learning a new language ☺️
Таня, привет! Как называется та книга в которой наисаны кандзи с русским переводом? Я хотел бы купить ее друзьям. Отличное видео для тех изучающих японский язык. Заранее спасибо!
Can you do video like this about Korean please
Probably some time in October, yes
yomichan
what tripod do you use?
at 0:56 I find it interesting they use the Hiroshima atomic bombing as an example for a reader here... most materials I've seen tend to avoid touchy subjects like that.
Thank you so much for this!
what ipad and stylus are you using?
