Yeh its different fighting an actual capable fighting force. And its still only russia. Imagine fighting an advanced fighting force.
@@kamekazi1123 Russia is an "actual capable fighting force" LMAO. Sending hundreds and thousands of men and young adults to fight with limited, decades old equipment sounds very capable to me. Not to mention that most of their forces have received very little firearms training, no medical training, no tactical training in combat and no frontline experience. How they have managed to last this long is beyond me, but it won't last much longer.
@@paparoach007 Sorry, relatively speaking... I think your getting carried away here. Russia has fought in Chechnya most recently, they arent completely without frontline experience. They have a standing army equipped with combat gear and have land and air vehicles. For all intents and purposes that is a capable fighting force. Just becuase they arent America doesnt mean they arent capable. There are only a handful of countries that are even able to combat Russia. Hey man I’ve seen most of your vids, love your commentary. I’d highly recommend doing “enemy in the woods” next. By far one of the best productions I’ve seen of Ukrainians holding a key railway that leads to the rest of their country.
Ukrainian soldier here. They got at least two major issues on 9:00 still i realise it's hard in the battlefield take it as it must to be. Especially when you are exhausted and tired. It's a hard job +1000 respect to this guyz
I don't quite see the 2 major issues at your time stamp...they found a fa**ot radio (belonging to Orks) is that not a tactical advantage to be able to listen in to the enemies local comm's, or am I missing some else, beyond the "there is more than a company down there"?
Unrelated question, did you guys wear the blue/yellow identification bands the entire war? Naively doesn't it make it easier to target you? I would assume blue on blue incidents must've been really bad to put bright colors on your uniform?
@kitsunde sometimes, friendly fire still a thing. And last thing you want to meet be shot by your mate so on "штурм" idk how it's called on English we wear bands, when we're holding the positions we definitely don't do that, to hide ours positions from russian soldiers
@kitsunde so basically when you are assault russian positions it makes sense. Idk if i explain this enough due to my non perfect english, be sure to ask some questions its ok
@kitsunde btw you can see in first seconds on the video that guys uses blue stripes

Drone operators with teams makes so much sense navigating and targeting in these situations even to just have the guy and not need him
As a comp shooter with an AK, they're not that more reliable than an AR platform. They have their weaknesses. Especially in environments where you don't keep the safety engaged constantly, have weak or inconsistent primers, and with really crummy storage. But all in all, the 3rd Okrema guys are insanely impressive.

Totally understandable when u see bodies n what not. Lmffffao
Tactics are simple: landing, entrenchment, advance. Everything is relative to the side of the enemy / towards the enemy/. Nakat* - attack, otkat - retreat. So in waves of promotion. Correction by drones, walkie-talkies. More specifically, after reconnaissance - always clarification of where and what is located. The battle makes its own adjustments. People are lost, the new ones are not so trained.

Hello from Ukraine, good luck :)
these situations just need nano drones, some soldiers could easily carry two or three of those with a radio and basically single use them to quickly decide next move
13:21 can’t speak to the actual quality of their gear but one could also argue that if AK’s are having issues in these conditions, other platforms haven’t got a chance.
I know this isn’t true, but it could be said.
I heard it's a bit of a myth that the AK is so reliable (when it comes to jamming) but it could also be a chronic issue of poor weapon maintenance
I think it's more due to the conditions. Also you don't know how long these guns have been in-service for. Its getting winter and these things are getting painted in mud.
@@dexteris yeah that’s kind of what I’m saying. If aks are taking such a beating in this conflict and they are having some issues. Imagine how a less robust/reliable weapon platform would handle it. Looks like a real tough environment for gear to function.
I wonder if the plastics on some firearms freeze and shatter in the extreme cold of their winter.
@@TheAdmiraltoby yeah finding the time to properly maintain weapons in a conflict would be hard.
I suppose it could also be partly from poor ammo too.
@@vhwft It's not bad ammo but a lot of Soviet era ammo is still corrosive so you need to clean your weapons much more often. They've been trained to deal with this.

All those who help and fight for Ukraine are honored and praised. Ukrainian troops are in dire need of aviation. For some reason, the promised F16s are not available in sufficient quantities, and this is very disappointing.
Helping Ukraine will not help win in any way; it will only delay Russia’s progress; Ukraine will lose in this war.z
@@geraev_ The russian "progress" after 13 months of offensive is that they have managed to conquer an additional area in Ukraine equilavent to one of the smallest countries in Europe, namely Luxemburg. If the russians continue to do just TACTICAL gains and no STRATEGIC breakthrough anywere along the frontline, it will with present tempo take them 66 years to conquer the whole of Ukraine.
