STEPANQUAT Helia Rubine Dye Test

This video will be demonstrating the substantivity of STEPANQUAT® Helia, a new patent-pending hair conditioning agent from Stepan Company. STEPANQUAT Helia is naturally-derived from sunflower oil and is specifically designed to provide easy combing and a soft feel to the hair.
Substantivity is an important characteristic for hair products. It refers to the ability of the conditioning agents to deposit onto the hair during use. Ideally, they need to be substantive enough to resist rinsing out, but not so substantive that they cannot be washed out. With the right balance, hair feels softer, combs easier, and is less prone to frizz.
